This Zara fragrance is a bit sweet for my taste, but my wife gave it positive marks right after I put it on. There is definitely vanilla that is present throughout, but the cacao is in the mix and noticeable from the beginning. I think this is in a similar category as Le Male Eau Fraiche, Kenneth Cole Mankind Hero and Sea of Stars by Pascal Morabito, all of which come across as sweet and fresh to my nose. Staying power isn't super long, but the projection is really strong for the first hour, then gradually declining for the next couple hours. Overall it is pretty nice quality and unique with the cacao note, though not really my cup of tea. If there was a touch of patchouli or myrrh to deepen it a little, I might have loved it more.

I have the complete new Zara Collection tester sets. So I will review them all. This is a good scent. I get the violet note. And in general I like violet. I don't love it when just applied. I have to wait 15 minutes before I am starting to like it. Best performer of the 4. But I like the smell of 'Floating Around' better. But that one lacks performance. So this is the number 1 for me. Overall a 7 out of 10. Day Collection: worst = No Plans, best = Stormy Day Night Collection: worst = Night Skyline, best = Midnight Hour Denim Collection: worst = Dark Wash, best = Frayed Edge

This is fresh and sweet. I usually feel like most Zara scents can be worn almost any time of the year since the projection is so low, but this feels much more like a spring/fall scent to me. It's not really my cup of tea, but my bf complimented me multiple times when I wore it.

I bought the samples of the day fragrance collection and this one together with 'floating around' is my favourite. Stormy day is a very nice winter/fall fragrance. It reminds me a bit of layton by pdm. The performance is also good.

The opening is really harsh on mine it hurt my nostrils, doesn't smell good either smells like terrible old lady-ish type of fragrance. The drydown is even worse, smells like if you mix blackpepper with soap. It's a waste of money really
