Vibrant Leather Bogoss

Finally pulled the trigger and got the 100ml bottle. Definitely one of my favorite Zara fragrance DNA's. I'd had my eyes on the regular Vibrant Leather for months and visited my local Zara to test VL + all its flankers, on multiple occasions. Initially, I was dead set on getting the original, since I wanted an Aventus clone. On top of that, Bogoss just smelled too sweet to me. But that was in winter, and then spring/summer came around, and my perception of this fragrance totally changed. It smells so good and it's such a happy scent. So while the regular VL might be more versatile, Bogoss just smells better IMO. Usually Zara oversimplifies the notes on the packaging, but in this case they're pretty damn accurate: A lovely, happy pineapple topnote with a twist of lemon + a great leather/wood drydown to give it some body and "seriousness". It's basically a tropical summer day in a bottle. Performance is good, for a Zara fragrance. Not weak, but definitely not a beast either. The leather/wood drydown can be picked up 12+ hours after spraying. The pineapple/lemon note only lasts an hour or two I'd say. Projection/sillage are kinda weak but it has great longevity on skin. It's not MEGA cheap, but for a 100ml with a good atomizer and a magnetic cap, I'd say it's a fair price. Overall: 8,5/10. Great summer scent. EDIT: Tried overspraying HEAVILY last night to see if it would amp up the performance, but strangely it didn't. I'd recommend somewhere between 6 to 10 sprays, but no more.

This is Super Juicy Sweet Pineapple Heaven! Aventus fanboys & fan girls who want a dense and Ripe juicy sweet pineapple topping on Aventus dna Vibrant Leather should just grab a bottle. It somehow opens better than Qaed Al Fursan Lattafa and Now RAVE which I have/had. That said, Begoss Vibrant leather comes in a blue Zara house VL bottle with a magnetic cap. Gets sold in standard black soft cardboard box and hard large LE boxes. I bought the large hard cardboard box with the picture of a blue stone in front, batch 41200. I think Begoss VL is worth the value alone for the blast of lovely juicy pineapple in the opening alone, doesn't matter if it's really lasting or not because the og VL is pretty known for its poor performance. All you need to do is to put in 15-25 sprays and you will fly, become a pineapple 🍍 head for the next hour or two. Really lovely juice. Makes the og VL a n00b... I have heard that this Begoss VL is already pretty popular and well I think most are not wrong. I like Begoss VL more than og VL mainly for the performance. But of course if you don't like it sweet and prefer the usual higher Aventus quality than there's absolutely no need for you to try this since there are many many more expensive Aventus dna niches out there to go for. For now, I'll enjoy and soak myself in pineapple juice till I try the next Zara VL explosion which I already bought, that's gonna be another massive compliments getter.

Imagine freshly squeezed lemon and grapefruit juice poured over a pineapple popsicle, so juicy, refreshing, and mouthwatering on a hot summer day. That’s exactly what this smells like in a bottle. I honestly just want to open it up and drink it, it smells that delicious. I don’t get any leather notes from this at all. It does remind me of Qaed Al Fursan, but it’s not a one-to-one match. They start off similar but part ways soon after. QAF obviously has that Middle Eastern twang with a kind of licorice-ish note. Longevity and performance aren’t amazing, though. I’d say it lasts about 4 to 5 hours on clothes, but you have to be pretty close to catch a whiff. On skin, maybe an hour tops. But that’s fine with me since I usually spray it on my shirt anyway, so it doesn’t really bother me. I think this works for any age and is perfect for hot summer days, especially if you’re heading to the beach or out on vacation. Just spray it 8 to 10 times all over your shirt before you leave the hotel to grab food or hit the boardwalk. This is the ultimate beach vacation fragrance. I already know what I’m bringing on my next trip to Hawaii. 8/10

Very nice cologne. Smells youthful, sort of ck escape/invictus bubblegum scent, like fresh plastic, a little like Seoul/zara blue and also man gold, slight pineapple, but more like something fresh, plastic, or new tee-shirt perhaps. almost like the odor inside zara stores. Returning to this review, 2 years later, I dont wear this often because I have about 100 other colognes, 30 or so I especially enjoy, and 5-10 i always go for. But when I use this, every few weeks or so, I love it. So far its my favorite Zara scent. The old ones, Seoul, Blue, For Him, Man Gold & Silver - theyre all good. The leather ones are okay, and Fire and Earth are also very good, best of the new ones after this one. Sweet, unique odor. Trendy, youthful, good to wear when dressed well and out and about during the daytime.

I got this randomly at a Zara store in Kosovo while I was waiting in line to pay for my clothes. The packaging looked so appealing and the pineapple smell right after I sprayed it on my hand was extremely attractive. On my way home, the scent kept getting better and better! I was so happy for buying this perfume without overthinking it. It smells way more expensive than it really is. I'd describe it as D&G Light Blue (for women) with an extra touch of pineapple, which gives the scent that tropical vibe. It's not a typical masculine perfume, but it's neither feminine. This perfume represents a modern, open minded, charismatic, happy young man. Longevity is good, I wish it had a better sillage. Overall, the perfume is worth adding to your collection. Especially if you're into fruity perfumes. 🍍🍋

This would be my signature scent if the longevity was better. If you’re wondering which Vibrant Leather to pick up, let it be this one. I have a 2023 batch of this, and I believe that most of the Vibrant Leather fragrances were reformulated and repackaged throughout 2024, so I’m not certain if they are the exact same, but from my experiences they are very similar. This is very similar to Lattafa’s Qaed al Fursan, being quite pineapple + citrus forward, but lacks the performance that QaF has. This projects decently well for about 2-3 hours actually, but once that’s out of the way it’s a skin scent until the 5-6 hour mark and then it’s gone. For the price you pay, you get a great scent with okay performance and really nice packaging (magnetic cap, good atomizer, heavy bottle).

I have many other colognes for summer, but this is my favorite summer fragrance! It's a very nice, beautiful, tropical, sweet bomb. At first, I literally smelled only pineapple, like dense pineapple juice, similar to what other reviewers have mentioned, but I can also detect lemon and leather, and it blends beautifully. Additionally, it's not expensive, and it's not as weak as other 'ZARA' fragrances. I hope 'ZARA' never discontinues it. Lastly, it reminds me of 'BAL D'AFRIQUE' by Byredo, which has pretty similar vibes. I was really surprised to find out that both are created by the same perfumer

VL Bogoss is extremely good for the price! It's a pineapple bomb mixed with a sort of pina colada, is not a very masculine fragrance but is surely a crowd pleasing smell that fits perfecty for the summer and spring days, is wonderful! Longevity is pretty good and sillage is just ok, packaging is also great with a magnetic cap in the bottle. By the way, this doesn't smell like Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas, they are totally different. Edit: this smells extremely close to Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan 8,5/10

A lot like Black XS but for summer. That alone makes this one great. As there isn't much loud and sweet fragrances for summer that won't let you choke out a room. Most fragrances seem to be a little more casual and that's great but it's good to have a cheap summer fragrance that stands out and will get compliments. Projection is really good for the first few hours. Then it becomes closer to the skin.

As a smell, so much better than Qaed Al Fursan. No cheap saffron, richer base, mmmmmmmmm The atomizer on mine literally doesn't work. It pisses itself, wets the bed. Currently wondering how I will solve this dillemna, maybe always spray it into a travel 5ml and carry it with on the days using, since its longevity isnt the best. $10 for a frag that smells like a simple+well-made $40.

A very clean and likeable scent. Not an "in-your-face" type of perfume. If you like layering perfumes, then this scent I think is almost like a camouflage when mixed with other perfumes. I won't further explain this but the perfume is a must have. I would recommend wearing this occasionally in summer/spring and night.

Pineapple Paradise!!🍍⛱️ This fragrance really reminded me of Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Beau but without the coconut counterpart. I never really got the leather and cedar scent which makes it a fresh fragrance for me. This lasts moderately on my skin (about 4-5 hours) and is worth checking out! Overall, 8.5/10 👍🍍

Like my dad is young again, and I’m a little kid. He’s handsome, dressed up for a special occasion — shirt, trousers, nice shoes. Later he comes home slightly drunk, in a great mood, talking to me, with just a trace of good alcohol on him. Buying the "Vibrant Leather" series in bulk.

I had never smelled a sweet pineapple fragrance before until I tried this. A great "Vibrant Leather" line from Zara reminds me of the cooled-down summer sunsets and the swimming pool days. It's definitely a good buy for summer and can easily be worn anywhere.

Excelente! Dá pra perceber a sofisticação por várias notas. Passei um creme antes de usar na pele e aderiu muito bem, estou muito contente com a durabilidade. Para um dia quente em um país tropical, acredito que sirva em qualquer momento do dia.

It smells like a fresh lemon & pineapple juice. The scent is absolutely amazing. The performance is very poor. I would pay 5x the actual price just to get the same scent in a better quality (regarding the performance).

Loved this, could immediately pick up the pineapple when I tested it. Not sure about the performance but seems to be on the low side. Pretty unisex fruity scent to me. Sweet. Not leathery at all, thank goodness.

It smells wonderful. I get a lot of pineapple out of this with a slight leather undertone that really makes it a stand out for me. It lasts a long time on my skin, so I can see myself wearing this all the time.

The first two days after I bought it, smelled super intense, now I cant smell it. I asked few people do they smell anything on me, they are surprised about the question. I dont know what's wrong.

I have been in plantations of pineapple and this perfume smells literally like cutting the most mature pineapple from the plantation, it's really fresh, sweet and clean.
