Vibrant Leather Metal

Not to say the user below does not have a good nose, but I was shocked when I read that to them this was 90% similar to Ombre Leather in the dry-down. What? The opening of this is very orangey, but orangey as if you'd smell in a Fanta, or something like this. That orangey smell not so long after becomes this gourmand-ish, sweet pastry smell, that is absolutely beautiful, deep but fresh at the same time. Very light-hearted and nice. A great flanker from Vibrant Leather, and good perfume for summer nights and early autumn. Zara is nailing the perfume industry this year. Nice longevity, in the 5 or 6 hours. This will be liked by everyone, I can assure, and it is a safe blind buy if you are attracted to what I said in the previous paragraph. 7.8/10.

It smells like a Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb clone. So, it has a 70-80% similarity to Spicebomb with stronger accents on the floral / citrusy elements. btw: It has no metallic elements. I have no idea why they named it "Metal".

This is the best pick up of the new Vibrant Leather flankers. Vibrant Leather Warm is also great, but its the exact same juice as White Soho. Only in a new bottle. VL Winter is kinda weak. Do not recommend.

The love child of Spicebomb and The One

First of all, there is nothing “metallic” about this fragrance. This fragrance has a very bright, creamy grapefruit opening along with a slight floral sweetness. As it drys down, the spicier notes (ginger, pink pepper?) and woods begin to emerge and dominate the fragrance. It is very pleasant and very unisex, with the opening leaning more feminine and the dry down more masculine. Imo, the floral notes make this an elegant fragrance- very well suited for suit and tie events. However that is not to say this couldn’t be worn casually. Unfortunately, like most in the Vibrant Leather line - performance is rather abysmal. To be honest, this may be the weakest performing Vibrant Leather that I own. This becomes a skin scent within 20-30 minutes and has only about 3-4 hours of longevity. Of the 5 Vibrant Leather flankers I have smelled, I would rank this at the 4 spot, with Oud being the worst and “Eclat de Bergamot” the best. “Intense” and Cologne take the 2 & 3 spots respectively. *I am not familiar with Spice Bomb, so I can’t say whether Metal is a clone. However, based on the note breakdown it’s safe to assume they smell similar.

Never smelled Spicebomb and i don't know if VL Metal is actually similar to that, the only think i know is that i just love this fragrance. It's a mixture between spices and some citrus notes like mandarin, really really good, probably the best Vibrant Leather flanker. 8/10

The only one in the Vibrant Leather line that is vaguely tolerable, but still there is a synthetic note in there which is very bitter and borderline annoying. Re spices, for me spices means Spezie (Villoresi). This one is simply mostly cardamom and a woody base (plus the bitter note). The overall effect is of a watered down cheap cologne. Disappointing.

At first thought this reminded me of one of the popular "dating" fragrances, but I couldn't identify which one, not having them side by side. Thought could be D&G The One EDP, but wasn't really sure. In any case, right now just checked a shower gel that strongly reminds me of Zara Vibrant Leather Metal: Dove Men +Care "Clean Elements" (titanium bottle with grey square). So maybe it wasn't any other specific fragrance that this one reminded me of, but this shower gel which I had likely used in the past. This is now the second Dove shower gel that I find quite similar to a fragrance. (The other one was the "Fresh Elements", with the green square, which clearly smells to me like Bleu de Chanel EDP.)

Of all the new Vibrant Leather's, to me is the best. Synthetic and fruity in the opening, sweet in the drydown, but at least the scent has some power to stay around. The others VL don't.
