Cachemire Noir

I can't know what facet(s) of Ambroxan the preceding reviewer dislikes, but there is a prominent marine ambergris-type aspect to this scent and I suspect that that's what he was getting at. To me it seems similar to the amber in Issey Intense, which again is distinctly marine to my nose. I don't mind the effect too much but then again I live by the sea. This is not a dazzling fragrance to me either way but I like it. Still, you probably do have to be content with marine amber to stand a good chance of enjoying this, even though the sweet and musky sides of the Ambroxan fit right in with the vanilla and so on. It's almost as if the fragrance has been given some kind of wash of marine amber, although it probably doesn't take very much Ambroxan to produce that effect. To my nose, the fragrance is a bit non-descript apart from that, or just complex enough and well-blended enough not to have any super-assertive character. It's semi-formal to formal but not so dark or rich that I picture some Tom Ford ad guy in a tux. It's a strange thing to contemplate but I imagine that if there were a version of Jaïpur EdP with none of the citrus and less of the sandalwood but a lot of Ambroxan, it might smell something like this. Edit: I'm wearing this again and this time I'm not picking up quite so much on the salty or marine aspect. This time it perhaps seems more mineral than specifically salty or marine. (Maybe it's actually the benzoin! I imagine this would layer nicely with Bentley Intense.) Anyway, wherever any salty or marine aspect may have come from, this time the resins in general and the fruitiness of the labdanum in particular seem to be balancing it and pushing the overall effect toward a kind of luxurious combination of warm spice and dark, woody resin (or resinous wood?), with a little of that fruity leathery labdanum and just a hint of sandalwood shaving cream. It's butch but refined, and probably smells a little like opening a felt-lined wooden guitar case to take out a custom acoustic guitar made mostly of fine, aromatic, dark, fruity wood.

picked this gem up at tk max today here in the uk for £25 for 100ml.... you could think of it as a hybrid of pdm Carlisle and t.f noir extreme although doesn't project as strongly as Carlisle about the same as noir extreme and at that price you can't really complain

Cachemire Noir is a perfume for Men. The men who desires luxury. The presentation is average, the bottle styling is nice but the juice is excellent.

I ve worn dozens of fragrances thare 4 times the price but, none of them is as good as this.

This is very nice. It is blended in a manner in which I am unable to identify any individual notes. So other than to say I like the way it smells I don’t really have anything else. Give it a shot. Of the four Zilli fragrances I have tried this is the least strong. Instead of a full day I predict about six hours out of this one. This does not work well in the cold. Best wait for spring and summer.

There is Ambroxan in this. Ruins it sadly.

I saw this at Tkmax in the UK. The dark presentation intrigued me. I searched on here to see reviews and decided to pull the trigger for £25 without smelling it. Gladly it paid off. This smells of TF Tabacco Oud to my nose. Its more amber/vanilla heavy on the dry down. Quality is really good and I've been getting whiffs of it all day. I don't get the PDM Carlisle comparison, maybe slightly. I can see the comparison to TF Noir intense. But it's definitely giving me Oud Tabacco and seeing that I've never liked that enough to buy a full bottle, I'm happy to own something that smells very close and smells of quality. Great find.

While I smell this, I see similarities to Noir Extreme, it's more similar to Noir Extreme Parfum. But to my nose, this smells like a Non-smoky, tobacco-less version of Tobacco Oud. I have Tobacco Oud, Noir Extreme & Noir Extreme Parfum; but I was surprised how close this felt to Tobacco Oud (like 75% close). Super pleased with thos Zilli iteration.

Classy amber infused with oriental benzoin and vanilla , throw your babycat and caden , enjoy this
