Al Embratur Absolu

To my nose, this opens like a spicier take on Parfums de Marly Percival. As it develops, it starts to feel like a blend of spicy Percival mixed with Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif. I’ve never personally smelled Invictus, so I can’t make that comparison—I’m strictly judging it against fragrances already in my own collection. Right from the opening, you’re greeted with a refined mix of spice, amber, and woods. The spice is noticeable without being aggressive—it adds character without overpowering the composition. The amber smooths everything out and gives it a warm, slightly resinous feel. The woods come across as sandalwood to my nose, which is where I pick up some of that Bleu de Chanel-style sophistication. The frankincense is also a standout, adding a subtle smoky nuance that gives the scent extra depth and maturity. For the price, this is borderline theft. The quality-to-value ratio is outstanding. Performance is absolutely beast mode—three sprays is honestly all you need, and this thing will command attention for hours. It feels tailor-made for fall and winter, though I could also see it thriving on cooler spring days. Overall, I’d rate this an 8.8/10.

Al Embratur Absolu Zimaya is a very masculine fragrance with a dark, gothic feel that really stood out to me. The bottle design is cool, but the scent itself is what makes it special — it has strong sillage, excellent longevity, and a very confident presence. You do not need to overspray this one at all. A couple sprays is enough, because it performs really well and easily gives you 8+ hours on skin. I know some people may say you can’t make a gothic fragrance with vanilla in it, but this one proves that wrong. It still comes across dark and woody overall, and the vanilla works best in the drydown where it adds smoothness and depth without making it smell too sweet. Overall, this is a great pick if you want something masculine, dark, and a little different, with real performance behind it. It smells like a very bold man’s fragrance, not a boy’s cologne — very adult, confident, and mature. It would also make a great cologne for anyone on a budget who likes dark, woodsy notes without oud, especially if you hate the smell of oud like I do.

Fresh out of the box first impressions. Warm, slightly gourmand amber with sprinkles of pepper in the opening. The woody notes immediately form a backbone. After about half an hour, the scent transforms into a glowing amber with a light vanilla haze, supported by a beautiful dry Virginia Cedar base. The scent wraps you in a cozy warm blanket as you gaze out the window at the swirling snow with a crackling Sandalwood fire in the back. #1633 in my “Tour de Fragrance” A note-for-note clone of Paco Rabanne “Invictus Victory Absolu.” As close as any of the clones out there come to the original. Long lasting, strong silage, versatile, inoffensive, and importantly, $100 cheaper than the Rabanne original. So it was 90 today I wore it cause why not. Amazing. People say it's mostly a winter spring fall nope it's all year. I think it's because it's sweet also and idk I ended up buying 4 more. Making this my scent.
