Reverie Aqua

Completely stunning. I could not believe how good Reverie Aqua was out of a 1ml decant. And to think I added it on to hit free shipping... I am not impressed by Born in Roma Intense. It smelt faint and uninteresting. Just lavender and vanilla with a ghost of vetiver to counter the sweetness. I understand the hype but again, not impressed. Then I remember trying Asad Bourbon cause I liked Azarro TMW and saw it was its highest rated dupe but came to find it smells like the chocolate Axe can from high school with a bit of Born in Roma Intense. Reverie Aqua however completely blows both out of the water. It simply comes across as higher quality, the lavender and vanilla are perfectly blended in such an effervescent way it tingles like ambroxan. I think this might be due to how the vetiver is added as well and gives it a sparkly dry and earthy base. However, the main difference is in the depth that is added by warm sweet amber and spices. An ambery nuttiness and a touch of cardamom and cinnamon are hard to pick out individually but give this a backbone that BIRI simply doesn't have. It projects harder, comes across as more complex, while maintaining a beautiful simplicity. This easily lasts 8-10 hours on me as well. Absolute steal for the 25 bucks I paid. First fragrance I'm thinking of getting a backup bottle of in a long time.

@Mr_hello1 is mistaken, or trying to sabotage. I have smelled both, drydown and all. They are nearly identical. The only part in which I agree is the Reverie is louder, more screechy. but the scent is undoubtedly BIRI, nearly 1:1. For those wondering, Zimaya Reverie Aqua is 95% similar. I have sampled this fragrance and own Reverie Aqua, both smell nearly identical. You’re welcome. Update: It’s also nuclear, 4-6 sprays and 4 hours later it still fills a classroom, easily. Lasts 8 hours before fading, in my experience. After a bit of macerating it does take a slightly sweeter note, dulling the woodsy note a bit. Was at a group dinner and someone sat down at the seat across from me and noted “this whole area smells like man” Sick, right?

Blind bought - 3d origami box , bottle is weighty and has a magnetic cap , very well done. First spray smells amazing , amber & spicy bubblegum bomb up your nose ...DNA of Valentino Born in Roma ... but once it settles I get more of a Stronger with you absolutely all over this. Having not smelled Born in Roma Intense but did have the OG BIR , I can’t say it’s a dead ringer for that , but I love Stronger with You and did enjoy BIR ... 2 great smelling fragrances ... PLUS it’s just coming into the season of which that scent explodes and lights up ... If you like those type of scents you can’t go wrong with this ... very happy with my purchase.

@perfumebyme.p Personally I like Reverie Aqua more than Asad Bourbon , and feel it is more of a 1:1 to Valentino BIRI than Asad Bourbon is. Both have good lasting power and projection . They are fairly similar and would be worn at the same situations, so get whichever is cheaper / accessible to you and I'm sure you'll be happy. you don't "need " both though

Just so beautiful. Deeply complex, I was actually shocked, one of the best ones I’ve gotten this month. Similar to born in Roma intense, just a bit more amber and deep/thick in the profile as a whole, I do wish it projected a bit more, but worth it just to have on my hand and be able to smell this masterpiece all day...

very good, I sampled born in roma intense and have full bottle of RA side by side, and it is 90% similar, born in roma intense smells higher quality, more interesting and much more fresh though. If you really love BIR intense then spend it on BIR would be a better choice, otherwise RA is a great frag.

Smells extremely close to Valentino, if I out a blind fold on I wouldn’t be able to tell. Smells really good and is a really easy reach. The silage is pretty good to I fell like I’m kinda gassing people out around me which for the most part is a good thing. Smells great would recommend. 9.1/10

I bought this perfume blindly and I was a little apprehensive but it surprised me greatly. It is a sweet perfume with a little freshness in a good way. It reminds me of bubble gum and its performance is very good. I smell it strongly. It is an uncomplicated and distinctive perfume.

Nice bottle & box. Love this perfume overall. With my nose, i love the cardamom and cinnamon at the start. The lavender give it a nice aromatic, and the vanilla are just the right amount. don't have anything to say if its a clone to BIRI, never tried one.

I would say it is almost a 1:1 to BIRI. Performance is similar to the og, lacking a little in the projection department. Versatile, signature scent kind of a fragrance. Blind buy safe imo. 9/10

At first similar to swy and than it's go closer to Valentino I don't say it's so close but closer than swy. It's nice and make you feel cool. Longevity is 5 hours max 6 Projection is ok

First Sniff Cardamom and SWY absolutely vibe. Secondly: Azzaro the most wanted edp. Thirdly: SWY intensely. After 10 min: mix of everything in a fresh and sweet way. 😍

box presentation, the bottle, the atomizer, the scent, everything is just blews me away how this stuff is dirt cheap. it's an absolute no brainer

Really close to Valentino BIR .. performance is good for the price point I get 7-8 hours with a really good projection for the first hour

Smells beautiful. You can go heavy with this one though. It’s not beast mode and that may be a good thing.

Spray this and Dumont Nitro White Intensely side by side. You’d be suprised how close they are.

best Valentino intense dupe ever

Got this for $34 last weekend. First of all, i'm a big fan of the Valetino BIR DNA. Although i have yet to try Yellow Dream, my favourites are Coral Fantasy and the EDT. I found the Intense version a tad lackluster character wise, same situation with Extradose, in fact Extradose is probably the worst flanker by far. Although they're mass appealing, i found most of them to be quite unique, specially Coral Fantasy- Reverie Aqua by Zimaya is very reminiscent of the BIR DNA, from the opening to dry down. Personally, to me it smells like an in between of the EDT and the Intense. Sweet, floral lavender with the slightest touch of vanilla and amber. It also has a hazelnut touch that is hard to perceive but it is 100% in the mid. Not as sweet as the Intense but also sweeter than the EDT. It also has an acquatic touch which the Intense lacks. This is perfect if you already own a Valentino fragrance and you want to use something cheaper, or if you liked the Intense but found it a bit too much. Reviews say this is for winter, but as a fan of thick, sweet and loud fragrances, this to me is perfectly wearable year round. In fact i'd say it's probably too light for winter, i'd stick to spring and fall only. Performance is nothing to go crazy about but it's a decent performer, it isn't loud at all but it sticks to the skin for around 7-8 hours. As far as sprays go, i'd spray this 8-12 times if you want to get noticed, 6-7 for a date night or intimate encounters. ONE THING ABOUT THIS THOUGH... The quality is insanely good. I'm talking like, it matches the Valentino. I've always been a big fan of zimaya, i own their dupes for Interlude Man, Black Saffron and Layton, and they all have pretty good quality but this one is just 1:1 quality wise, so props to zimaya, seems like they're upping their game. Over all, 7.5/10.

On the dry down is where this scent shines. To me this smells like you decided to store your spices in an expensive leather bag. Sweet, spicy, fresh, and leathery. Vanilla arrives late to the party, but gets a warm welcome by the spices. I know there is no leather listed, but it smells a lot like leather, maybe because of the labdanum. Definitely a cold weather scent. The lavender-vetiver combo scratches something in my nose the same way Lattafa Jasoor (Coral Fantasy) does, but I like it here more than the Lattafa one. I don't remember how the original BIR Intense smelled like when I tried it, but on it's own, this is a pretty good fragrance, especially at the price. AND THE BOTTLE, WOW. Sillage is good for the first couple of hours, projection is reduced after 3 hours, and the spiciness also tones down a bit. Can still smell it on clothes the next day after applying at night.

I got new 2025 batch, so the smell didn't develop yet, but I can see potential in this. I will put it in the drawer and wait a month or two with high hopes ;) I've got lattafas discovery set, where is also Asad bourbon. Almost same opening, but I think zimaya is sharper and more linear compared to Asad bourbon. On the dry down, I like bourbon more, because it becomes softer more seductive than aqua, which is like I said to linear for me. But zimaya is still new, so this maybe isn't fair comparison.

Opens warm spicy vanilic with the toffee amberwood smell of most wanted black x stronger with you. Dries down to clean, sweet vetiver-lavender. Day and night scent, all weather except strong summer. The scent itself is nothing terribly flashy, like BIRI itself. However, you get for sub 30€ a magnetic cap bottle with a perfume that lasts long, projects well. Surprised by the overall quality.

Very nice scent especially for the price! However this and the og and coral fantasy is just too sweet. My nose has changed a bit, matured, but my 21 year old daughter loves this so I gave it to her boyfriend. I think it fits that age. But no regrets and if you like the sweetness then you will love this

Its not fresh as some people claiming,to powdery and harsh at opening, overall it smells good, fantastic bottle. 7.5 in my opinion.

This fragrance Is good, in the opening It reminds me of stronger with you intensely but fresher, I don't like SWY because it's too sweet and obnoxious, this One Is much Better. You get a good mixture of lavander and vanilla, and in the drydown It becomes much spicier, warm spicy that Is. It's very Mass appealing but sadly only for cooler weather The only thing Is that it's a Little boring to me, It Just gives me that impression. For the price can't complain tho, bottle Is decent, heavy and has a magnetic cap. PS: for those that are delusional in the comments saying this smells cheap/non coherent, let It mature at least. It seems like either your nose Is broken or the fragrances you received Is not ready. It happens a lot with arab fragrances. You shouldn't do reviews if you don't even know about this basic concept

If you're into Zara perfumes, go for it. Not bad but very common scent. I mean... Zara scent

Made an account specifically to say this stuff is horrendous. Don’t buy the hype. It’s headache inducing, synthetic, and smells awful. There’s a lot saying this needs to sit for a couple months, so I’ll let it, but out of the box this stuff is gross.

Glad I bought a bottle of Reverie Aqua, I can't find it anywhere. I wanted a back up bottle. I usuallly don't buy decants, but I did for the BIRI. I got 10 ml for a good price, an I figured that would get me by (That was about 3 months ago) I did a lot of research on Reverie Aqua (Yeah, like you can trust research LOL),But for the price I decided to blind buy it, Like I do most of my scents (Goodwill loves me, They get all my mistakes LOL). Well, was I suprised when it came in. Tested it on a strip, Smelt like BIRI, Then I tested the OG on my left wrist, and Reverie Aqua on my right, It was pretty close, Let them dry down, Still very close. For the price, It's a no brainer for me, But as of right now, I can't find it anywhere. That figures, If its a good clone, Their usually easy to find, If its a great clone, discontinued LOL. Just to put my two cents in, I think all fragrences are subjective, because we all have different body chemistries. I for a long time would stop people and ask them what their wearing, Go out and buy it, Smelt like crap on me, Masarate, Still smells like dodo, Off to Goodwill LOL.

Beautiful, fresh, sweet and likeable cardamom, lavender and vanilla fragrance. It's a hard fragrance to dissect because I swear that I smell some pear in this fragrance even if it's not listed, though it could just be the blend. This is a crowd pleaser for sure and I don't mean that in a condescending way. Certain reviewers on Fragrantica like to play pretend that fragrances with scent profiles like this are generic and played out and that 'everybody wears it' -- but I have never smelled someone in real life wear 'Born in Roma Intense', 'Sauvage Elixir' or 'Stronger with You Intensely'. Ever. Back to 'Reverie Aqua' -- It's damn near impossible to dislike this, even if you're a niche snob, you can't deny the pleasant aura it has. Great for everyday use and smells great on clothes. The box features a beautifully made 3D cut paper motif with the same design that is on the bottle. This might be one of Zimaya's best fragrances -- it's at least the easiest one to like. I love it.

Es un mix entre Stronger With You Intensly y Born In Roma Intense, combinación perfecta, exquisita. La duración es buena, 7 horas o más. La proyección es muy buena las 2 primeras horas, luego se reduce a una burbuja personal pero sigue proyectando bien. (Teniendo en cuenta que lo dejé macerar por 1 mes y mejoró tanto la proyección como la duración) La lavanda y la vainilla son las protagonistas durante toda la vida de la fragancia, además del cardamomo al principio que la da un toquecito picantito y especiado muy sutil que lo vuelve riquísimo. Puntuación: 10/10

Anyone else getting some Sauvage Elixir vibes in the lavender and cinnamon combo here? It feels a bit like a hybrid of that with BIR Intense. It reminds me of the SE-ish element in Supremacy Collector's Edition. Day 1 of owning, I'm keen to see how this develops. Update: later in the day (not too long into the drydown) this smelled pretty terrible. Synthetic, musty, dirty, peppery mess on my skin. All the BIR Intense aspects dissipated pretty quickly. Sold it the very same day, couldn't be bothered giving this more time at all.

people like olfactsnolies have no patience, people like him should stay far away from trading and anything market related, that being said as most perfumes from middle east get sold straight away after being produced i’ll buy this and let this develop, just because i know this has insane potential after macerating, the dude that got the bottle will be so happy in 1-2 months thinking the seller (olfactsnolies) has lost some brain cells not liking that perfume

This fragrance smells like stronger with you when sprayed in the air. On skin the opening is cardamom forward and kind of reminds me of la nuit de l’homme. When it dries down it resembles the most wanted and it settles down to the chestnut and amber with a hint of cardamom. This fragrance doesn’t really remind me of valentino bir intense which is a bit of a disappointment as i was looking for a clone of it.

This is Valentino BIR Intense with a Vanilla focus instead of lavender. Out of the box smells really good and close to the original, but that one note difference makes it feel off. I got 6 hours on clothes with a decent projection for 2 hours. Hopefully, maceration can improve the blend and quality.

Guys, help! Between Asad Bourbon and Reverie Aqua, which one has better projection and longevity? Which one is more similar to Valentino Uomo Intense?

Anglichanin pretty close to Art du parfam but Armaf is better quality. Don't need both imo.
