Sample September (day 1) 💖 On my skin it's lemon & cucumber water with lots of thick, green and lightly powdery orris. I mean that in the best possible way, it's refreshing and soft but has an anchor to hold it down and keep gentle wafts projecting off your skin to fill your nose up with the essence of warm weather & views of nature from a restaurant on a cliff, or on the beach. It's a little bit rosy, but not too much. It's very similar to Flora Psychadelica EdT, I have a little bit of that left and wore them side to side. I think I prefer Flora Psychadelica ... but just a little bit more. This has a beautiful cucumber note. Coriander & juniper are both there, but not super strongly, which I expected. It didn't make the scent any less pleasing when I found them to be a little more in the background.

To me, this is a more refined and long lasting version of Flora Psychedelica. I know sharing a key note will cause this, but it's hard to ignore when these two share similarities with N°19 by Chanel. When I smell this and think very, very carefully... the 'ginspiration' becomes very clear. At times it almost smells of gin, but not exactly. The below reviews are accurate also - cucumber sandwiches for lunch in an English rose garden with gin spritzes. The rose above all else becomes prominent after 3 or so hours. A treat for the nose and mind in these puzzling times

The opening of this is all fresh wet cucumber that transitions into iris, rose, and juniper. This would be a wonderful floral for someone who doesn’t like florals. They’re so natural and fresh here - they remind me of picking flowers from my grandma’s garden and wrapping the stems in wet kitchen roll to take home.

Cool powdery orris root, zingy lemon and cooling cucumber. The juniper is pretty low key. A teeny drop of sweetness and warmth from the rose and orange. More than not this scent is about the orris root with a touch of lemon and cucumber. I wouldn't call it a sharp and sparkling scent. The powdery orris root and musk softens any edges. It doesn't evolve much. Maybe the cucumber gets a bit stronger on my skin and the lemon vanishes. A fab scent to wear on a hot day. Perfectly unisex.

Gin, carrots (not listed) and cucumber, a summer freshie with a gourmand twist of lemon and coriander. All the notes smell natural and well blended.... like a gin smoothie. This is a weird scent—but I kind of like it. Dries down to a pleasant cucumber and musk perfume.

Gin and orris. If you like that sort of thing.
