Mysterio De Myrrh

This is very ambery and vanilla. I was hoping it have that fresh root beer soda smell with a touch of effervescense. Really it drys down to a scebt that reminds me of root beer candy. Not bad I didnt quite hit the mark but Im glad I bought the travel size. It's early fall and the weather is still mild. I hope for this one to mascerate and maybe something smoother may result because this frag is pretty thick! Why root beer you may wonder? One influencer mentioned the TF EF as having that root beer appeal, I love rootbeer and AF is inspired of that one. Update: I did 2 sprays on each side of my ears during the warm October day we had in the US on 10/29/24 and it was pretty heavy to my nose! So this is defintely not a summertime scent if that is what you dont want. I sprayed jt today on a cool evening andI can smell the balsamic note, the Myrrh stands out more resinous/ smoky on the drydown which I like. The rootbeer candy accord in the top is not as persistent at the initial spray it settles faster within 10 minutes. I dont mind that. The Sandalwood certainly makes it interesring to smell. Sweet, then ambery, then smoky resinous wood is the exact order from spray to drydown

I haven't smelled the OG, but wow is this fantastic! If the OG smells like this or better, who knows but at the price of this inspiration, I don't think I would buy the OG. Dark, incensy, vanillic, maybe a slight leather in the background and the typical TF signature. It's creamy, thick, some sweetness but not too sweet. It has a noticeable smoke accord so if you don't like it, I wouldnt recommend this fragrance. It doesn't project heavy but it does give a nice scent bubble, you will notice it. I need to test it more as far as longevity, so I'll likely update. I have their Ebony flame (ebene fume) clone and it's great as well (I bought a 10 ml) and these two share a similarity but MM is just superior overall in scent profile. Only issue is it doesnt project much, but it has a scent bubble. I might have to get a full bottle of this. Edit: Didn't get a bottle but I did get the traveler. Great fragrance which only issue is it's longevity.
