Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition

Very similar to Sweet Like Candy with some subtle differences. Sweet Like Candy would be the younger more innocent sister, while the limited edition would be the older more sultry sister. While the original is more subtle and closer the the skin, I personally find the limited edition to be a little bit more pronounced and not so subtle. I find the limited edition to be a little sweeter because of the red berries and the amber note. Upon first spray I was super disappointed as I thought I had purchased Sweet Like candy only in a red bottle. I sprayed both wrists and after going back and forth between the two I began to notice very subtle differences between them. I personally find the original more of a skin scent and it's more light while the limited is that bit more intense. Also some of the notes differ making the scent smell different and develop differently on the skin. I get better lasting power out of the limited edition, which hits around 5 hours while SLC hits about 3-4 on my skin. I love Ariana Grande and all her fragrances and I adore the look of the bright red bottle and Pom Pom so I wanted to get it anyway so it's not a big deal to me that they aren't drastically different as I can appreciate the small tweaks that have been made. I don't know if I have mentioned it or not but out of SLC original and SLC Limited edition I like the limited edition the best.

A lot of “limited edition” perfumes are identical to the original scent, just in a different bottle. That is not the case with this one. It’s still extremely similar! 90% or so the same...but not exactly. This one smells less gourmand with less of a whipped cream smell and some juicy red berries thrown on top. The red berries note here smells just like the berries in Britney Spears “Radiance.” Gorgeous, juicy red berries note. Not tart sour ones. It’s a beautiful scent. Going for $100+ on EBay and I was lucky enough to find a full, brand new bottle for like $23. I actually think I prefer this to the original...however...my favorite scent of hers is still her debut scent “Ari.” I have every single perfume she has released with the exception of Thank You, Next. I even own Frankie which also has a beautiful smell, just doesn’t perform. So all in all...is this one worth $100? No. But it’s definitely worth the $23 I paid for it, it’s gorgeous. I wish they made it in a 100ML bottle but they only make it in a 50ML unfortunately. Performance isn’t terrible. Moderate for sure. Longevity - 4 hours. Projection - About 3 feet. Overall Score - 8.5/10. Thumbs up Ariana. This is beautiful. Don’t stop producing it! It’s delicious.

I recently bought a 100ml tester of the origional sweet like candy on ebay, and it was quite cheap being a tester. So when I opened it up and the box said Limited edition, i thought " Weird, I'm pretty sure its not..oh well" And in the box, low and behold it was this red bottle! What a score! I mean, if i didn't want this one it would be inconvenient but I've looked for this in Oz and the price is ludicrous for a celeb fragrance, LE or not. So I thought that was quite a win for me lol. The fragrance itself is very similar to the original, but I actually find it's bolder with better longevity( then again, it is a tester) I get at least 4-5 hours before it mellows down to a skin scent. Its sweeter than the OG without that sharp fresh note; which i like so i wish it had more of that. I'm not sure how I feel about the bottle though, the soft pink is much prettier than the brash red but hey it's not really the bottle that i bought it for. All in all, a good buy, I like it a lot, the two are very similar but not exactly the same.

I wish I had known about this perfume when it was easily available. I did have to purchase this from eBay at a small markup, but I am so happy that I have it now because it was worth it. Luckily the bottle was an unused tester, so score! It's deliciously sweet, effortlessly sexy, and doesn't try to be anything that it's not. You could wear this every day and for any occasion since it's not overbearing at all, and even more mature folks could rock this. The sweetness is not too thick since it's balanced by the tangy black currant and citrus. I am in love with the honeysuckle and frangipani in this as well, two of my absolute favorites notes. The whipped essences make this intoxicating but without any kind of headache. It's perfectly balanced in my opinion, but definitely not boring. I may have to keep my eye out for another great deal on this as a backup because I would absolutely run through this if I wasn't so aware of it being a limited edition.

OMG this smells exactly like my childhood crying doll that had scented face. So amazing! It is completely not what I expected based on the notes but that scent was absolutely winning, calming, fascinating. Creamy with floral notes. So amazing to now have an entire bottle of this scent. I can barely believe it. I am either nose blind to it or it has such a delicate presence as if non existent when I wear it globally. It is certainly sweet and floral on me. But I would never guess the parts maybe only cashmere and whipped cream. Gorgeous doll scent though. Maybe hot spring day with summer temperature is not its forte. I am wearing it with 10+ sprays and finally I feel it. 3 hours in and it faded into drydown, but I love it anyway.

She genuinely needs to make this permanent. It’s better than most of her fragrances, especially some of her newer ones. Obviously has the SLC dna, but it is a lot warmer but not as sugary sweet. Can kinda remind me a bit of Jessica Simpsons Fancy, they dont smell the same just has a similar vibe to me. It’s fruitier without being overbearing or shampoo like, very creamy too. It also lasts and projects A LOT more than the og. This is a flanker done right, just hate that it’s LE and hard to get. Just an fyi, check fragrancenet occasionally bc that’s where i got mine and it was for $30. Do not go and buy it at those ridiculous prices ppl put out.

I absolutely LOVEEE this perfume so much! The original sweet like candy perfume was the first perfume I ever have an it will always be nostalgic and a top favorite for me, so when I bought this I wasn't expecting it to top the original but it definitely does. It's very similar to the original sweet like candy, but it's a lot creamier, the red berry not sort of replaces the blackberry note of the original, and it lasts way longer for me than the original. Unfortunately this perfume is a littttle hard to find, but if you find a good seller I'd 100% recommend getting this. Such a sweet gorgeous fruity fragrance.

I wish she made this a permanent scent. I adore this scent so so so so much. You can get it in the tiny bottles if you get the gift-packs with Ari, the OG, and Moonlight, and that is how I've tried this scent and had it so many times. This would be my signature if it was permanent and easily accessible. Its better than the original but the original has become one of my favorites also. It would be a dream of mine to own a huge bottle of this. I'll settle for Mod Blush and Sweet Like Candy as replacement tho. This projects more too. I love it. I miss it.

This smells incredible. Not really juvenile, despite being a sweet like candy flanker. Original slc is still very good but it sometimes smells photorealistic to blueberry cream cheese to me.. this on the other hand, is phenomenal and far from a bagel spread lol. Such a pretty smell. The only distinct note i can pick out is the red berries in the top notes and marshmallows/whipped cream and cashmere. i was a little hesitant to use this just because it was limited edition but i would rather it go to use than it just collecting dust on my shelf

I bought this off Amazon like about a year ago and till this day it has been my most beloved fragrance ever, Ariana really did it with this one and I just wish this was a permanent scent, it goes on more stronger than any other perfume I own of hers and even scent wise it’s the best thing I’ve ever smelt in any other perfume, if u are a sweet gourmand lover that doesn’t want a scent that’s juvenile I highly recommend this one!

Red berry fruit with sweet tarts. This is Sweet Like Candy's better sister as it is amazingly sweet and juicy. While SLC is uber sweet and slightly marshmallowy, this limited edition helps bring out the more fun flirtatious side with its amped up berry notes. It's a shame that this is not a permanent item as I find it the best out of the two. Definitely a crowd pleaser as well.

I prefer this to the original SLC, it smells a bit more sophisticated and I like it a lot. The red berries, bergamot and marshmallow are strongest to my nose. However, after 30mins I can barely smell it even if I get super close to my own skin. Bummer, I feel like Ari and Moonlight both have way better longevity, though they are also soft.

It’s better than the original. Has a nicer, stronger note with red berries. Wish it was a regular one. And the bottle is super cute. The whole idea of these bottles with pom poms is just amazing ! But please stop making limited editions. Super frustrating.

I fell in love with this scent when it was released and I’m beyond devastated by the fact that it was a limited edition. It smells like the older sister of Sweet Like Candy because it’s not as sweet and that’s what makes it my favorite scent by Ari ❤️

this has become my favorite of her entire line. I wish she would bring this back! Berries & marshmallows. slc dna for sure just a little deeper and more complex. I have feeling I’ll blow through this bottle. 10x better than the original.

I will never stop commenting about how insanely good this fragrance is, does Ariana know herself about how amazing of a perfume she has made?! She needs to bring back this flanker of sweet like candy asap!

I'm so happy I bought this over the OG. Love this candied perfume. Red berries take over most of the scent, with hints of marshmallow. Really cute scent that borders the line to sexy.

Juicy sweet red berries, with a very fresh and clean drydown. I love this scent. It lasts all day without being overbearing or growing stale (as many celebrity perfumes do).

In my opinion this smells like both the OG Sweet Like Candy and Ari. It’s the perfect mix if you like both like me I really enjoy these older AG fragrances.

Gorgeous bottle & scent.Smells similar to the original yet less sweet,lighter & can detect the berries.An absolute pleasure to wear,love it ❤:)
