Wicked For Good – Elphaba Enchanted

I am so scared for this to be discontinued! I am debating buying a second and maybe even a third bottle. I have been seeking out dupes like crazy as I know it is limited edition. Mod vanilla is not dupe enough for me. In my perspective, the two are not twins, not even sisters! It smells a lot like unmute by Noyz (perfume balm) and sol de janeiro cheriosa no 40 (perfume balm) but those both smell less great even though they both are a close second in their own way. The plum goes crazy vibrant on me. It smells like the taste of an almost-ripe plum and some extra whimsicalness I can’t name. I think I could be the best smelling person alive when I wear this. I don’t know what it does when it is on me but my body chemistry and this perfume go wild!

This and Bubbly Pink are my first Ariana Grande fragrances, so I have no comparisons of her line to make here. I certainly liked Enchanted Elphaba much more than Bubbly Pink, and Bubbly Pink was nice! From my impression, Enchanted Elphaba captures a studious scent. I found the vanilla to evoke a comfortable feeling, and the woodiness to be focused and peaceful. I keep my collection small, and even sold my other vanilla fragrance to keep this one (21:50 Reverie), albeit that I am not a huge fan of vanilla fragrances. I really liked the bottle design: it's polished, glowing green, and potion-like. Bubbly Pink is a safe blind-buy, but I don't think Enchanted Elphaba is. It's a really nice fragrance for the fall and winter months ahead.

Tried this today at Superdrug uk I absolutely love it the scent is gorgeous but the bottle is a little boring in my opinion. The scent reminds me of Ariana Grandes Mod Vanilla but it’s more darker and heavier but mod vanilla is more yummy, creamy and fun. Elphaba enchanted is definitely aimed for younger audience men and women. I tried out Bubbly pink Glinda it smells absolutely amazing I love the bottle the scent was more of a sweet floral kinda fruity too it’s beautiful definitely a must try out. I have both of them for my collection and I am so happy but Enchanted elphaba is my favourite scent hate the bottle and Glinda is my favourite bottle and love the scent too

I agree that it is very similar to Mod Vanilla, but it is a less gourmand ice cream vanilla and more of a mature yet tender vanilla. On my skin, I REALLY got the apple and plum on the top, and the drydown became a cozy and woody oud-vanilla, though it took a couple minutes for me to get the spice and cocoa. I didn’t really have anything like it in my collection already, so I decided to get it. the price was expected for an 3.4 oz Ariana fragrance. It’s not very unique if you want a signature vanilla, but it is very pleasant and a great limited edition collectors item for Wicked or Ari fans.

I smelled this in Ulta, and IMMEDIATELY knew I needed a bottle. The opening for me is a bit...different. But not necessarily in a bad way. As it's been settling, it's got this warm, comforting quality to it. I'm loving the plum/chocolate/(slight) oud party that is happening; it's got a sweet/smoky, mysterious vibe. I'll update my review after I've got some wear on her--but first impression: I need a back up bottle, stat!

This is very much like Lataffa Nebras. it seems to be a bit denser though. even though it doesn't list, red berries, I can still smell them. It's almost like a Nebras intense. Pretty good. I don't know what the sillage might be. But is definitely staying on my skin almost 7 hours the fact that has oud in it . will probably carry it through to last longer than most.

There are no words... I had a sample. I knew I'd love it from the notes. I absolutely adore this. I bought two bottles on Mercari. It's not artisanal, it's not complex, but it is absolutely beautiful in a perfectly synthetic way. As rich and complex as I generally love my fragrances, this is my one-off that I think goes into my top ten... Out of maybe 400 or so.

It is very rich fragrance, sweet and mysterious. I mainly feel vanilla, some chocolate notes, however the perfume have something addicting in it, that I cannot explain. It is very good at longevity, on clothing I can still smell it on a day 3!! after just one spray. But on my skin it was holding around 10 hours gradually getting less intense.

I hated it at first cause it’s not your typical Ariana vibe. It’s masculine and strong. But then, I really liked it. Then it’s like cacao, coffee, vanilla and white flowers blended to form a strong scent. But like many times with Ariana, it’s enchanting after a while. It totally matches the flanker and box. I love the whole package.

I dont care, I love it. Its such a soft warm vanilla. Sits so close to the skin but isnt quite a skin scent like Glossier You bullshit. It feels and smells like a hug, wrapping around you, soft and just right. Maybe its my skin chemistry. Its beautiful. I dont care that its basic. Sometimes the best things in life are simplistic.

Wow, this is probably the most complex and bold celebrity fragrance. I didn't expect this from Ariana Grande. I absolutely love it! Perfect scent for the witches. Very ambery, woody and musky scent. Good lasting power as well. Shame that they didn't make a cap looking like a witch hat but still, it's a good one.

I’ve tried all the fragrances from Ariana, and this might be the best one. It’s a mature, slightly smokey take on MOD Vanilla. After it sets down you can really smell the fresh, sour apple and woody vanilla. Despite the reviews I find it perfect for summer and pretty much every season. Totally recommended 💚🍏

For a perfume inspired by the Wicked Witch of the West, I’d hope it would pack more of a punch. I wish the vanilla top notes were swapped out for something earthier and woody. Doesn’t last too long on the skin and it unfortunately fades into a somewhat sour scent.

A lot stronger than the glinda one. I can smell vanilla and apple mainly but as it dries down I can smell the cocoa. You’ll like this scent if you’re a vanilla girly also if you like plush vanilla you’ll like this one

i honestly don't really pick up a lot of the vanilla until it dries down for a bit. it's a very warm spicy scent, also deep kind of mossy, very pleasant. (:

Mod vanilla intense version. With a hint of smoke and cacao. Is lasting a bit more than mod vanilla. I love it. Is also great for layering.

This is so nice - a cocoa-y mod vanilla-ish treat! A little bit a cloud a little bit a Burberry goddess.

This is a perfect hybrid of DUA Romantic for Her and Ari Mod Vanilla. This is an instant love for me.

Elphaba Enchanted I think might be Ariana’s most complex fragrance she’s released. As I wear it, it goes from an earthy Mod Vanilla to something even deeper and becomes almost solely woody. I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel like the notes are clashing with one another. It feels like a trip to Sephora where you spray two pretty different fragrances on top of each other that don’t have much in common. It’s not necessarily a bad thing since I like everything that’s going on, but I have a bit of a hard time understanding what they were going for here. This is NOT a safe blind buy and I suspect the Glinda perfume is going to sell a lot more. I think this could become a signature for the people who end up really liking it, it’s definitely more memorable and the performance is really impressive (if you’re okay with the woodiness being the main thing lingering). Plush Vanilla is a safer bet if you want a cozy sweet fall/winter Vanilla.

When you first spray it, you definitely get the fruit notes, mainly the plum which I’m a big fan of. Once it dries down, the fruitiness kind of disappears and what’s left is a deep, dusty woody vanilla, with the earthiness of the moss. I’ve had moments where I wear this and I’m surprised and impressed, because, well, in a world of youthful vanilla’s, this is not that. On the other hand, there have been times where the dry down kind of struck me as annoying. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, but I have to be in a specific mood for it. I definitely do have to say that this is one that performs really great! I’m not saying it’s a projection monster, but what I can say about it is that it lasts a long time for sure. 12+ hours on the skin. I wore it to bed, when I got up and get out of bed, I later returned to my bedroom and it smelled like a fragrance was just sprayed there. I then realized that it was this fragrance in the air there still.

smells very close to plush vanilla + mod vanilla to me. it’s a little less sweet than mod vanilla, and less woody compared to plush vanilla. i would say this is closer to mod/plush vanilla more than bubbly pink is to mod blush. when first sprayed, it does smell “earthy” but on my skin that dissipates within seconds. this is mainly a slightly warm vanilla scent with a pinch of spice to me. def nice as a collectors item, not a need. one huge positive is that the performance of enchanted is decent! got around 6 hours of wear before it became faint. i tried bubbly and enchanted at the same time, and they do compliment each other well. bubbly pink and enchanted worn together smells like fluffy watermelon cotton candy at first but after drying down for a few hours, it turns into a spiced vanilla bean scent. i know that sounds like a weird combo but it works somehow?!

Update: Ended up purchasing this, and I really do enjoy it! I normally don’t like fragrance that have a heavy oud note, but the oud is not super strong. Still has similar vibes to mod vanilla, but with more depth. This one has gotten me a couple compliments too! Can confirm, it is really similar to mod vanilla, albeit a little more rich. I only tested it at ulta, and I’m debating on whether or not I want to add it to my collection. This fragrance would perform really well in colder weather. I think if you have mod vanilla, you don’t necessarily need this one, but if you want to collect all the Ariana fragrances, or if you are a fan of wicked then go for it!

It’s possible I will change my mind down the line, but first impressions: like most Ariana grande fragrances this scent is not going to last all day long. It would be difficult to pair it with something else because the scent is very soft. Yes it is musky and woody but still very soft. I would expect an Elphaba inspired scent to pack a heavier punch. It reminds me of a soft and airy good girl inspired scent. That being said I do think it’s a pretty fragrance and will be searching for a long lasting dupe once I’m out.

This one came today and. I like it. This has depth and performance. Much. Better than glindas offering. However. This isn’t anything like. Ground breaking. Again. $72. Should be $39.99. Not unique enough for the price. Nice enough bottle but kinda boring. The vanilla is amazing in the warm middle and dry down, but. Again. It’s not that special. I don’t think I will hold onto it. But if I ever came across a bottle for cheaper. I’d prob re buy it. For now. She’s going back to ULTA as well. Off to Oz you go!

The scent doesn't really match the pyramid. Smells like vanilla-amber and dirt. Not patch and not oakmoss, just dirt and maybe a borderline old cigarette type of smokiness. I don't detect any fruit whatsoever. If forced to choose I would say plum. I like it though, and I would wear it. I do think it's the perfect scent to represent Elphaba. It's unique...but it works and doesn't smell like any ol' boring celebrity fragrance. Gives me Covet vibes a little bit.

It's a sweet scent perfume. All of Ariana Grande's perfumes I've tried so far have been sweet. I smelled this scent and pretended to be strong, but I thought of Elphaba, who is soft-hearted. This is not Mod, I have both. I dislike Mod, its very powdery and baby like. This woody and earthy almost over powering and after it dries down the vanilla is intoxicating. Its intense perfume and while i like it I have to be in the right mood for it. But that dry down .... if i could bottle just that, i would shower myself in it everyday.

Tried a sample of this and I loved it. I am not a big fan of Ariana Grande or her fragrances but this really impressed me and I can't wait to get my own bottle.

This smells exactly like mod vanilla

To my nose ..... this fragrance really makes me picture (in a photorealistic way) a witch riding a smoking broom trough the woods ... thing that i personally consider to be a marvelous job, because i fell like they really capture in a "simple" way Elphaba's character (or rather what we can picture of her; sweet yet surrounded in a somewhat dark - heavy environment and with a tinge of something in her "burning" in the edge ) .... Now in terms of its actual taste, to me the notes turn out to be more peculiar and strong that i imagine upon seeing them, it almost gives me the impression that there could be a undeclared note of smoke because the whole fragrance has a incense kind of quality in the composition (not a bad thing if that is what one is looking for for),with a very potent wood right from the beginning and strong chocolate and vanilla that alternate / fight each other at times.... Over all i find it to be a pretty unique different scent (at least in comparison of what i have taste) and definitely not a crowd pleaser ... but i think that would make it even more beautiful for and on the right person.

Okay, but... The minimalist packaging is a joke. For that price, we'd expect something more substantial than what they sell on the lower shelves at Rossmann. Made in Poland, unfortunately, like every new fragrance from AG they sell in EU these days. The scent is okay, suitable for the colder season, but it's very similar to Mod Vanilla. To me, it looks more like a quick cash grab than something made with quality in mind, like the Love Letters line. Average longevity, and it's not particularly intense or noticeable.

I love Wicked and Elphaba and I really wanted to like this perfume but sadly I was disappointed, while I did smell a very faint scent of vanilla, but the scent of oud was too overpowering and dominated everything else. I usually like oud scents but only in men's fragrances, I don't like strong oud notes in women's fragrances. This Elphaba fragrance smelled a bit too masculine due to the strong oud note and is more suited for men than women I think.

In comparison to the Glinda perfume it is very smoky and almost peppery (if that’s even a way to describe a scent...) this is definitely not for those who like florals as it is def More earthy but it isn’t exactly over powering like the Glinda perfume. I wouldn’t say it’s a summertime or spring scent but more like fall scent.

this one is fun! i've never smelt anything like it yet (probably the oud). the plum and vanilla save this from being too masculine and "old furniture". definitely worth trying a sample!

A lot like Mod Vanilla especially in the beginning. It is a bit more green and woody, mossy, chocolate patchouli but just barely. Boring.

to me this honestly smells like celery and some kind of green herb like dill with a hint of sweet vanilla in the background

Better than the Glinda scent, a bit heavier and more mysterious but ultimately unmemorable

Very similar to Mod Vanilla! Very similar tone, but with a bit more depth and polish. It’s pleasant, easy to like, and very wearable. That said, for the price, I don’t think it really delivers. On my skin it dries down quite quickly into something that feels more like a vanilla body spray than a full-bodied perfume. It loses complexity and becomes very generic. And the oud... I honestly can’t find it. If it’s there, it’s extremely subtle, to the point of being almost irrelevant. I was expecting some darkness or woody richness, but didn't find it

I made the mistake of spraying this on myself instead of a tester- and regretted it for a couple hours. It was such an intense smoke and oud smell I couldn’t get it out of my nostrils. I tried to scrub it off and couldn’t, which proceeded to give me the biggest headache of my life. I didn’t get any other notes but firewood and I tried to like the scent but it gave me such a big headache unfortunately this one is just not for me😭If you enjoy the scent though it lasts long

Im from the uk and if youve ever visited Alton Towers Haunted house this smells exactly like that! It smells smoky and woody to me, mainly smoky.

Very strong vanilla cugar. Baking vanilla muffins. Only if you love smell of a cookie. I don't. Very strong projection.

This made me vomit. Like actually. I sprayed it on my wrist before i left the house, and it was like horrible synthetic vanilla with like burning wood. I started feeling nauseous and half way through the drive i pulled over to vomit. 0/10
