Vetiverve

Vetiverve was launched in 2019 and its concept speaks of an exciting concert, where all the notes blend harmoniously and vividly, making the environment lively. Its name, as you might have guessed, reveals the key ingredient in the composition: vetiver. The Vetiverve's fragrance is classified as woody-spicy and lists head notes of bergamot and bitter orange, which make room for a spicy body with pink pepper, cloves, and vetiver, on a denser base of oak moss, sandalwood, myrrh, and musk. When reading the olfactory pyramid in the brand's official material, I thought it was a mossy fragrance with a classic style. However, when I sprayed it on my skin, I realized that I was completely wrong. Vetiverve opens in a very citrusy and natural way. It is not juicy, but acidic, revealing the truest content of the pressed peels. The clove note (not carnation) is noticeable and warms the heart of the fragrance, but it is not as pungent as many are afraid of, because of the association with medicines used by dentists to relieve pain. Here, the key ingredient is the vetiver and no savings were made when applying it. The note is very lively and of great quality, revealing much of its green woody content, with less of the earthy facets. The result brings freshness, without looking too ethereal. Remember I mentioned the oak moss? So, if you're the type that doesn't like mossy fragrances, you don't have to worry, because the base of this composition is balsamic, sweet, and slightly smoky. The myrrh exhales in an exemplary way, gaining soft support from sandalwood. The rest is a fundamental part for stability and durability purposes. On my skin, Vetiverve was long-lasting, to the point of staying on my wrist even after showering. It is a perfume sold as unisex, but its power to attract the male audience is understandable.
