Beautiful Day

It's like the movie isn't opening, your life is. It captures that feeling when you wake up in the morning to a gorgeous, fine day. When you want to smile and beam at everyone and make friends. When you have a spring in your step and filled with boundless joy. You want to be Maria, with her infectious innocence. This has become one of my favorites, ever, for capturing that beauty. Beautiful green apple and pear give that bright, jolting splash that is never synthetic. Lucious ,sweet, tart, radiant feminity that doesn't skimp on beauty. It smells so stunning on me and there is never a day that I wear it that I'm not complimented on. Or that I don't get reminded of the character Maria. I think this what she would wear if she wore perfume. It's sweet and cheerful in a natural, clean way, never annoying or cloying. By the by, DKNY Delicious smells too much like a generic room spray when worn on me. It leaves a mothy, chemical drydown. This ends in a creamy yet juicy floral.

I have the body mist version of this beautiful scent. This perfume is just a stronger version of the body mist yet they are exactly alike. I love this scent (my favourite out of all the scents in BBW) and I love the fruity, sweet and apple scent. I always indulge in this mist and I have about 3 backups for it. I have a travel size (currently using), a back up for the travel size and two full sizes that have not been touched. You can tell how much I love it! The only downfall is that it does not last long at all.... Maybe about an hour or less which kind of sucks because I enjoy this perfume a lot. I only have the body mist..... Does anyone know if the perfume lasts longer than the body mist? Let me know!

I have the shower gel, lotion, and body spray of this that I layer together (that's how I do BBW). To me, this is what happiness smells like. It smells exactly like the picture on the packaging. The fruity notes shine here. The Apple and pear notes are so sunny and yummy. Done wrong these notes could have been overpowering and synthetic but after the initial fruity blast the acquatic florals show up and compliment the fruit notes so well and makes them juicier. Reminds me of being in a fruit orchard after a rain. Another cool thing I discovered is that the lotion really pairs well with J'adore. Pairing them really plays up the pear note in J'adore.

A Bath and Body Works classic! This is a crisp, fresh, juicy, granny smith apple 🍏 with a little floral 💐. It's a such a clean, uplifting fragrance for the spring and summer months that is just a mood-booster! I always remember the very first time I wore it to work back in 2013 when it originally released a male co-worker caught a whiff of it when he passed by my office and commented how "Beautiful" it smelled in the room.😊 It is most similar to DKNY Be Delicious, but I feel that perfume is not as fruity-forward and less sweet. I still have and wear the B&BW eau de toilette which is discontinued but the body spray is just as good.

This is what Be Delicious wished it was. I haven’t found a better Apple perfume. Kayali is jealous of this fragrance. It is Apple forward which is what I want. Not reminiscent of Apple, not Apple skin, not Apple juice, not deconstructed apple. To me this is the edp version of Country Apple. I don’t know why it isn’t still marketed like that. Of course it was discontinued / special edition so the remaining bottles are a pretty penny on the second hand market. I’m wearing it side by side with DKNY and there’s no comparison. Maybe it’s just my nostalgic brain liking the Apple note from B&BW but I stand by it.
