Starts out like a sage bomb, with the cedar giving some depth. Then the lavender mellows things out, then occasionally I'll pick up some sweetened iris that brightens the whole affair. Overall a nice calming scent on a dreary day.

I'm moving through the hours of this designer chronologically. While 8AM was lovely, 10AM gets a big "oof" from me. I can see what it's trying to do, but it's overwhelming sage + vetiver on my skin. One of the official descriptors for this scent is "intense," and I'll give them that. It's not just the intensity on my skin, but the combination of the notes specifically recalls some much-abhorred cough syrup from my childhood. There is just something distinctly and overwhelmingly medicinal about it for me. I know sort of astringent quality is for someone out there, but unfortunately it's not for me. A pass.

This little gem from such a small house stands amongst offerings from much bigger brands. There's a polished warmth that is beyond huffable! If you have the chance to try Cinnamon Projects' perfumes on, then do so. The way they unfold is absolutely gorgeous. I don't know enough about the brand to know if they're exclusively natural scents, but I don't get anything synthetic from them. Just one happy waft after another.
