King's Jester

This is nice straight out of the gate! Cozy scent that would be awesome in the fall. Truly unisex. I pick up on the red mandarine and the woodsy notes straight away. The leather makes it so smooth and there's lovely vanilla/tonka undertone together with something spicy. I really like this! Such a unique scentprofile. Good longevity. It's confusing that it smells so much of spices when no notes like that are listed. Almost giving a slight coca-cola vibe. 9/10.

This is very nice. Suede, Oakwood/oakmoss, metallic note, cashmere, and a candle waxy note is the main players. I get a hint of vanilla, sweetening the scent too. Slight tart citrus (Red Mandarin perhaps). Personal score 8.25/10. I could easily see myself getting a bottle of this on sale or second hand. It's unique enough to be desirable, and it's mass appealing enough to wear every day and to the office.

This is a gem. A dark, alluring, lil bit sweet and wearable fragrance but! With a cozy vibe. Imagine being in an old wooden mansion and walking past by the storage room which is filled with furs and unused books and half burnt candles.. the atmosphere is not very intense but still vibrant with the smells that this picture has to offer.. a really good attempt. I got a full bottle, couldn't help it. If you're the gothic atmosphere frag type of person, you should try it. Longevity is not bad but not eternal as well.

Imagine trying to put out a cheap, cloyingly sweet vanilla candle with your far too precious leather glove. This is the smell of that moment. I caught candle wax here and there throughout the whole set, but in this one I think it was used the most generously. More than in Floating Candles. Definitely not bad, though I can't quite help feeling like I've smelled more or less this same scent profile in a few other niche fragrances before. I can't really put my finger on any of them immediately, however. The drydown reminds me a bit of the opening of Uruk from Anatole Lebreton.
