Debut by Night

Update: I *love* this now!!! This is definitely a cold weather fragrance; in warm weather the scent didn't feel as rounded and the cedar dominated too much (making the fragrance lean unisex). But now I've tried it in cooler weather.. wow, it blows me away! Amazing rose patchouli scent (although it's really hard to notice individual notes in this). To me, this is a gorgeous feminine scent - very well blended, hard to describe, super complex yet balanced, opulent elegant rich "perfume scent"! Sort of gives me Chanel vibes, for sure. If I concentrated, I was able to make out some of the notes (rose, patchouli & citrus definitely) but it's truly amazing how *nice* this scent is! The saying: 'the sum is greater than its parts' is definitely true in this case. I would definitely recommend this as an evening perfume to anyone looking for a stunning fragrance on a budget. It's worth the money for sure!

Waiting for the bus, a sophisticated woman in her late thirties stood next to me. Not a fashionmodeltype, but definitely classy and she smelled absolutely the best. It was so mesmerizing that I had to ask here what she wore, hoping there was a mens equivalent. It was Debut by night. So sad to see there is no Debut for men, because the notes could have easily make a mens fragrance in my opinion, and Etienne Aigner is one of my favorite fragrance houses. I have bought female fragrances before, if I really liked them, but for some reason I don't feel confident enough to wear them. That having said, this is absolutely the bomb for men, so I suggest ladies to wear this if they want to stand out, or is this too sexist. Anyway, it's a big 10 for me!

For a long time I have been keeping an eye on Aigner's perfumes, for those who do not yet know Aigner Munich in Europe is a luxury brand, while the separated company from the state... want to be one but not really, is a classic example of good management versus poor management even if those in the States have long been led by E.A. proof that the creator is not necessarily a good manager. Anyway, the Aigner perfumes are produced under the European brand and obviously rise to the standards. Because I couldn't decide between debut by night and debut I of course bought them both 😂. However, I expected to like Debut by night more and I was really annoyed that I had only found it in a small volume, well that was actually good because yes it's a good perfume, not necessary night, more like powerful women, of course 🤭, business outfit but it's not satisfy me how I thought. It's a fruity patchouli scent with a permanent woody note, it has a sweeter note than the original but not necessary for me, I like it, but it doesn't enchant me, the first base smell a lot like the original, only I repeat sweeter and more powdery and some water rose appear, it's a smell close to the skin so don't expect it to flood you, but for me that wasn't the problem, but the fact that it didn't necessarily convey that vibe of power to me is more of a perfume for a strong woman but restrained in the presence. If I had smelled it separately, maybe I would have liked it more, but compare it to the big twin, well no, the Debut is much better, much greener, maybe less sober but much stronger in the dominant scream. In the classic the orange flower and Petitgrain predominate in this one you feel them but the wood note is more powerful. If I think about it, I think that if you boiled Debut, Debut by night came out, because it smells like a cold and more mature, more sober Debut tea. However, if you want to try, I recommend this one because it is much safer to buy than the Debut, that is more personalized, harder to control. By the way, the logo here is wrong, is the Etienne Aigner SUA logo not the Etienne Aigner Munich

At first sniff it was waaay to alcoholic citrusy and unpleasent to my nose. After a while, the dry down is a very familiar scent which I keep on wondering what smell similar with it. I think it smell floral but not too feminine and girly, it have some punch of maskuline scent. I think it reminds me of perfumes which my father used to spray and my father have a very good nose on fragrances, I'm not sure which one designer it from coz my father used paco rabbane, gucci, boss, and also aigner for men. It smells like a very expensive man perfume which my father sprayed when he went to dinner with his guests from other country, put on his formal suit, expensive tie and a classic watch.This one is a female version of it, a very elegant, professional and appropirate scent for a formal scent at night or in door, definitely not an out door summer scent.I cannot pick any sweet scent from it, only oriental floral with a strong punch and kinda maskuline fresh scent in a pleasent way. The good thing that the opening of annoying citrusy cologne scent gone for good so quick, but unfortunetely this perfume doesn't last long on my skin, it lingers but not remain strong.

when i sprayed it on my skin i feel smell of poor synthetic citrusy notes. also feel a little pear scent. after 2-3 minutes orange blossom and patchouli show themselves. unfortunately still i feel these notes are very synthetic. after 10-15 minutes the smell is more tolerable. however patchouli and orange blossom bother me in this frag. now after 20 minutes the fragrance come to a sweet fruity one. generally debut by night is not bad perfume and can be wear in fall. be careful patchouli might bother you!! this is a personal opinion. try test and make a decision on you personal opinion. Good Luck بشخصه با کیفیت این کار نتونستم ارتباط برقرار کنم هرچند اگنر کارای با کیفیتی دیدم ازش. بعضی کارا با اینکه قیمت بالایی ندارند ولی کیفیت مناسبی دارند و میشه به عنوان یه کار روزانه ازشون بهره برد. این کار یکم سنتتیک و مصنوعی بودنش رو بینی من تشخیص داد. هرچند کاملا سلیقه ای هست و هرکسی ممکنه نظر شخصی خودشو داشته باشه . سمپل اورجینال این کار موجوده.
