Scuderia Ferrari Black Signature

Black Signature is absolutely one of the best Ferrari's fragrances so sport & fresh... -scent : 8/10 -sillage : 7/10 -longevity : 8/10

I’ve had this for a while, it’s a compliment getter for my dog, since the scent doesn’t last long at all I give his butt a couple of hits and people think it’s a nice dog shampoo... that’s why I don’t wear it, it’s a pleasant scent but I get a heavy vanilla for some reason? Honestly not bad, it’s easy on the nose I’ve just never felt like it meshs with me.

I actually really liked Ferrari Black, the original scent, even with its below average performance, so I decided to try 'Scuderia Signature Black' because of its note breakdown. It opens with a gorgeous mix of citrus, anise and floral notes with a background of leather, which is used as a middle note here. It smells great, for about 5-10 minutes. The next 20 minutes involves the leather note becoming more prominent and a very slight woody base develops. Unfortunately, the lackluster performance kills the scent right here. Longevity, even with 8-10+ sprays (neck, shoulders, chest, forearms), is about three to four hours, with most of that being a skin scent. It doesn't project past the first 15 minutes, and there is little to no sillage or scent trail. You would have to go super heavy on the trigger (like 10-15 sprays) and spray over clothes to get a half days performance or any projection out of this, which is terrible because if it was stronger, it would be worth three times the price. It really does smell good, but its so light that its almost useless. I don't know of any situation this works in besides the gym, church, a business meeting or an airplane, as it's performance doesn't allow it to work anywhere else past an hour. It's just too soft and doesn't perform. You couldn't even use it as an air freshener or car freshener, because it has no sillage. If you like wearing skin scents that no one else can smell (including you), you might like this. Otherwise, not recommended.

This is a safe and generic scent for warm weather daytime. It's all about a slightly sour green apple with intensive star anise and some sea notes at the background, for 35-45 minutes. The smell is quite pleasant but it's not for me. Performance is bellow the average. Edc strenght. Boring.

Another review that I wrote a long time ago, but never published here. An original creation from this House, it is a tribute to the famous Scuderia Ferrari Black, but much younger. It brings in its composition notes of sparkling grapefruit, star anise, and green apple, just in the output. Then, the heart beats with notes of nutmeg, Mediterranean accord and cashmere wood, and leather accords. Finishing the task, notes of cedar, creamy musk and vetiver. Among all colognes of the Scuderia Ferrari line I tried so far, Scuderia Ferrari Black Signature was what surprised me the most in terms of fragrance. It starts juicy, with little presence of anise and many fruity nuances. Almost immediately, there is a freshness and the nutmeg gives a spicier aspect to the fragrance. The perfume is still changing, suffering several evolutions and showing different faces, in a matter of minutes. So, the fruity and juicy output begins to calm down and that's when the cashmere wood gives more value to the fragrance, that had everything to be considered synthetic and generic. After about 40 minutes, finally, the consecutive evolutions cease and the cedar becomes more evident. However, I think this incessant effort of evolution has made the fragrance lost potency over time and, unfortunately, we have another case of low projection and longevity. But it is worth remembering that this is very particular and depends on the reaction on the skin of each person. The bottle of Scuderia Ferrari Black Signature is black, but it's not satin and matte, as in its predecessor. Here, we have a brilliant bottle, which reinforces the joviality that was employed in the creation. If they decide to launch an Intense version, in Eau de Parfum concentration, it goes straight to my wish list!

This is a very nice scent. Masculine, modern, suitable for most occasions. Somewhere in the realm of Jimmy Choo Man, Coach for Men, etc. These days, this type of scent has become very common and thus some comments below call this "boring". It is not; it's still a nice way to smell. However, what's true from the comments is the weak performance. You may have to douse your clothes with a dozen sprays if you want to smell it over an hour later.

Smells soapy sweet apple and anise. I could barely smell the citrus and the aquatic notes, it’s so light. After 15 minutes you start to smell the leahter and musk. I Safe for office and dumb reach if you could find this for $20 or less for 4.2oz go fo for it.

Signature is a fragrance that is hard to have any real attachment to. it's fruity fresh but has minimal projection and longevity which is a pity as it smells pretty good.

Boring fragrance. Those to wear to go on the corner of your neighborhood.
