Siren

This is a truly unique and fascinating scent. Super marine, animal, kelp and salt on an ever steady humming ambergrise base. There is a slight smokiness as well but more like the smell of a piece of wood from a fire that drifted into the ocean then washed up again a few days later. On application, I smell an oily kelp mammalian scent first, with a bit of human skin or clean saliva. Also some minty aromatic (camphorous) effect happening too, but I do not see anything in the pyramid that reflects that. As it fades the wood, smokiness and the salt comes forward. A way Northern Califonia coastline smells. I just love this so much. Not really a going out kind of fragrance, but more introspective, meditative, sit in the garden, going for a walk, drawing or reading at home kind. Reminds me in the overall feel of Tam Dao or some of the fragrances by Aesop, but lot more quiet and contemplative and close to the skin.

Love this scent. I got a sample of Siren on a whim with a few other FSW samples and I'm so glad I did. Oceanic, cold, mineralic, a little musky/earthy/bodily. The floral and salty notes come in as it wears. Very contemplative, quiet, steady and introspective. Like a cold, undomesticated beach in the winter, with no other people around, or perhaps in a world where humans were never around. I wear this nearly every day for work and find it to be not feminine, masculine or unisex, but instead too far removed from humanity for such descriptors. There is a slight warmth that comes on long in to wearing it; i can pick up on the smokiness of the fire mentioned in the notes. A few reviewers mention a plastic garbage element but that doesn't come through on me. Heavily considering a full sized purchase eventually, but I am curious how their new perfume "Salt Mine" compares and will likely sample that first.

holy hell. this is so so incredible. this truly smells like a day at the sea. it is so alluring, the seaweed and sea spray hit you immediately, but every now and then i got this incredible whiff of??? actual fire??? not necessarily smoke, but fire. this might become my new summer fragrance, when i think of this fragrance, i think of the siren from Chappell Roan's "casual" music video. she definitely smells like this. instant fave. if i could only wear two perfumes for the rest of my life it'd be this one in summer and November in autumn.

This is very true to the name, it smells exactly how I picture a siren smelling. It's really addicting smelling! It reminds me off a stormy sandy PNW beach with a wonderful smokey note (and I normally HATE smokey fragrances as it gives me a headache). It definitely has a hint of actual fire but mixed with this salty, aquatic note. The dry down really brings out the salty, ambergris quality. I am obsessed with this, it's such a cool unique fragrance and I spent all day smelling my wrists when I wear it.

For lesbians :*) imo It smells like picking an enchanted rock out of the ocean. Smashed sea shells, salty, mineral, if u know u know. I think it’s masterful & incredibly special tho I for sure understand why it’s not for everyone.

A cold misty fall day on the coast, beautiful, jarring, confusing, intoxicating, nostalgic for days standing on the edge of a cliff by a lighthouse being absolutely pummeled by sea spray. Literally a work of art

Absolutely gorgeous, sexy scent. Perfectly encapsulates the "smell" of a small coastal town in Northern California/PNW.

The picture this perfume paints for me is spending the whole day swimming at the beach, throwing clothes over your bathing suit, and sitting by a fire with your friends while your hair is still wet with salt water. To me, this opened extremely green and, on the dry down, shifted completely to a salty bonfire scent. I usually lean towards gourmands so this was a huge shift for my personal taste, that being said, I can see myself wearing this in the summertime (day or night) because the saltiness leans too far towards summer for me to justify wearing it in any other season. With all that said, this is a gorgeous and beautifully crafted perfume.

This smells so unique and pretty. i definitely would say it leans more masculine but it smells very salty seaweedy! its a nice scent

An aggressively beach-y scent. A cold, foggy pacific northwest summer; sand in your shoes. Someone is burning their trash farther down the beach. Washed up fishing nets. Micro-plastics in the water. Sirens? Sure, but sirens in the age of ocean pollution. Mermaids in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Girls, your boyfriend will not like this one; this is for lonely, lesbian-inclined women. It smells like a beach cleanup, like burning trash at a locals-only beach. Does it smell nice? No, not really. But there's something very nostalgic in it if, like me, you spent a lot of time as a child unsupervised on dirty beaches. I got a sample six months ago and still haven't finished it. Requires a very specific mood to wear.

Smells like a photorealistic beach – the sand, the salt and some wet seaweed. I appreciate the artistry behind this fragrance and I enjoy the brand's interpretation of a mermaid/siren that they have done, but it's not really a smell I want to smell like. I wish the jasmine note was a little more apparent on me just so there is something to balance out those salty notes. It doesn't come up on me at all. I might experiment layering this with sweeter fragrances, but ideally it would also be lovely to just like it on its own. Longevity is pretty good though; I only stopped smelling the any hint of this on me after the 10th hour.

I ordered a sample set just to try this scent because I was intrigued bt the notes. I live in WA State, IMO this perfume is not evocative of the beaches here. At first sniff I get the saltiness of it and the seaweed. After a couple minutes I pick up a warm spice. It fainted pretty quickly and after a couple of hours I have to stick my nose into it to smell anything. What's left reminds me of smelling food cooking in the kitchen but having no idea what it is haha. A weird one, for sure. I don't need the full bottle.

Beachside port'o'potty that's weirdly nostalgic and childishly nauseating. Or your cool aquatic babysitter who smokes. Smokey smoke smoke. Deep but pelagically sharp like Bint El Sudán worn on a funeral pyre. So, I guess accurate to what a siren would actually smell like - pretty gross.

I wanted to like this so bad :( On my skin I'm getting NOTHING oceanic. I get pine-sol, some spicey herbal note, and maybe some bike tire air. No salt, no seashell, no ambergris, not even jasmine. I almost feel like I was sent the wrong perfume. For what I spent on this sample, I am very disappointed. I was so excited for this fragrance (I LOOVED November) but this smells like woowoo bug spray.

It’s definitely challenging. I find it to smell pretty exactly like what you’d think based on the name, story, and listed notes. I find the jasmine in this to be more of a jasmine tea, it has a dry stale quality to it that I find offputting.

i love this in summer. the medicinal opening is a refresher in the heat, and then it becomes a cloudy beach day with wet sands around your feet kinda vibe
