Friction for Him

A very fresh, slightly spicy and ozonic fragrance. The marine note is definitely there and makes this nice and refreshing. I think there is also an "Eternity" note there too. I can't smell any rum whatsoever. The drydown has a nice clean silage and, surprisingly, the marine note is still there - just. Staying power and silage are surprisingly good. The bottle has a nice clean design that matches the juice beautifully. Friction is an inexpensive pleasant scent and a nice surprise for me. Excellent value here and a good summer holiday and beach fragrance. *Update* This has a resemblance to Faconnable Royale.

Best FCUK for men so far. It's crisp and clean and a minimal fruity vibe. It's like a summer cocktail drink. Coconut is the most subtle here, much like a coconut water. It just gives a nice relation to the Friction for her, and it's hard to come across coconut scent in men's fragrance nowaday, so it's nice to see it used. It's genius, ridiculously inexpensive, cool-looking bottle. I only wish the bottle were made of a better quality material tho. Anyway, I would get them both; Him and Her. They both are great addition to my wardrobe no doubt.

Didn't expect much from a $20 fragrance, but I was surprised by how clean and masculine it smells. Definitely a good blind-buy, in my opinion. Reminds me of a fresh men's shower gel, in every good way possible. It's an amazing gym, school, or everyday cheap freshie.

This cologne smells like abercrombie fierce mixed with curve for men and you spilled a malabu mix drink on you shirt... I was not expecting this cologne to smell this good.. I got my 3.4 from ross for 12.99

Very underrated cheapie.Look past the brand and price tag this is a perfect clean and musky scent.Will be rebuying a bottle or two.

It's actually a little reminiscent of Montblanc Legend Spirit in that respect. I want to stress that Friction is in no way a clone of that fragrance. Underrated, very good value at a discount price. It's a very pleasant surprise. It has a pretty weak performance, but that is acceptable given the insanely affordable price point. Be prepared to overspray as well as repeat spray throughout the day. At its low price point, you can afford to replenish. There are far better citrus forward colognes on the market that perform better. Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey For Men and Montblanc Legend Spirit, for example, do come to mind. However, you will also pay 3 to 5 times the price for them. If you enjoy fresh citrus forward colognes, Friction is one to get unless you already have far better ones in your collection. Interestingly, its own flanker fcuk Friction Night for Him is also much better, as it adds a very nice complementary vanilla note to both the opening and the drydown that really makes both very pleasant. If you had to choose only one of them, I'd actually recommend Friction Night for Him over Friction Night.

After reading many positives comment at fragrantica, i decided to just Fcuk for it lol I am an asian, lived in tropical country and it's sunny right now. The juice: First time I spray Friction I got sweet & fresh citrus scent. But it not last long and become softer and start to smell interesting... CK eternity for men it's there but not precisely the same it has the same freshness but with more marine scent and less fruity. The projection is quite moderate at least for near 2 hours. after 2 hours it become softer on my skin but not on my clothes (2 sprays on my neck near ears, 1 spray on my clothes at the chest part and 1 spray on my left wrist and rub it to the right wrist). I cannot find the black coconut scent, but i catch a subtle brown paper scent. I don't get that sexy vibe kind of thing or maybe it's different from female observation. While i'm typing this it has been 5 hours since i spray friction and it's still there i can smell it. Conclusion: I like it, its not a fragrance that should be priced as it is. When wearing Friction i feel like walking on sunny day with a breeze of fall season' wind. It's not offensive, soft to moderate scent and projection, has a little touch of elegance, also it's cheap for this kind of fragrance... you can wear it for office (20-35 years old), summer holidays, and simple or casual dates. Package: 7/10 (Not too stylish) Scent : 7.5/10 (Nice scent but not a signature type) Projection : 8/10 (For 2 hours) 7/10 (after) Longevity : 7/10 (on skin) 8/10 (on clothes) Overall : 7.5/10 (IMO) Sorry for my bad english :)

This fragrance took a while to grow on me and now that I’ve used it for a year I’ve come to enjoy and like it. It has quite a few interesting notes that ultimately blend well together. It's like wearing a leather jacket while sitting in a coconut bubble bath filled with lavender floating on top and sipping a glass of rum & coke whilst chewing on fruity jelly beans—confusing, contradictory, and oddly alluring. It’s a cheapie, but smells good. Longevity is about 4 hours and silage gets to moderate if it’s over sprayed a bit. An excellent fresh smell perfect for spring or summer and smells great after a shower. A good work fragrance. Masculine for sure and would work well on most age groups. I’m not keen on the cheap bottle design, but most FCUK fragrances have that sort of appearance. The main thing is that the juice inside the bottle is very likeable and will not offend anyone.

Very good for the price, I got this for £10. Really quite musky and clean, smells very fresh. Great for warmer days, day or night. Performance for me was slightly below average (4-5h) and sillage was okay. The scent isn't particularly interesting but it's nice. This won't say much about your personality. At first it smells almost juvenile, it reminds me of deoderant, in a very neutral way, but as time goes on it turns into a more mature musky scent. In a broader sesne, the clean scent, and the tacky, but futuristic bottle design are quite reminiscent of Y2K aesthetics if that is your sort of thing. Overall, if you can get this for £10 - £20 I would 100% recomend you buy it. It's a great underrated scent with alot more depth than one would expect for the pricepoint. While its not particularly interesting, this would be great for days lazy days.

#FirstSniff: I got this today, as a blind buy. It is a fresh fragrance - as in stepped out of the shower fresh - and the spicy and fruity notes come at you in the top note. After a while, the lavender becomes prominent. The coconut and sea note are faint, but there. I can pick up the musk note. I am not getting the rum note... maybe that will change as I use this more often. This is a fragrance I would wear during the day in spring or summer. It is safe to wear it when out doing routine things like at work, gym, school or running an errands, etc. I don't think it is ideal for occasions like dates, evenings out, etc. The scent bubble is okay. The longevity is okay. I also think it is a safe scent for men of all age ranges. I like it, and FCUK Friction is great value for money.

This was bought as a fathers day present and a complete surprise to me as I have not seen or tested this fragrance before. I have been completely blown away by this fragrance given that it cost £13 for 100ml. It is a nice musky fresh scent perfect for warmer weather. I have worn it casually at the weekend and in the office. The only downside to this fragrance is the longitivity and silage which has both been moderate at best. I don't get a whole work day out of this scent usually 4 to 6 hours at best and silage I think it projects at arms length for an hour or so. For the price though this is hardly a complaint as I re apply mid way through the day. The main thing is that it keeps me smelling fresh when the weather is exceptionally warm.

Declutter Project #4: FCUK Friction. Fresh, clean, aquatic unisex scent. Very light and needs generous spraying to create a nice little scent bubble that would be particularly enjoyable in very hot weather, like a cool drink of lemon scented water. The "men's aftershave" note is extremely fleeting, thank goodness. Inoffensive in the good way. I like it. But I am unlikely to wear it except perhaps on very hot days. My wife, however, described it as "gorgeous". She swears it is identical to a CK1 flanker she once loved. Verdict: PASS ON, but really just moving to my wife's side.

I have blind bought a handful of FCUK fragrances which have all been awful. The only reason I took a chance on this one was the positive reviewing here on Fragrantica. I must admit that Friction is good. Summer and sea water spiced with a touch of fruit, coconut and musk. Very clean and fresh, perfect for a warm day, especially for the younger crowd. You could pay twice the money and still get something far inferior to this. For the giveaway online price it's a steal.

This is actually a really good fragrance. A very clean and fresh marine scent perfect for the summer.I can pick up the amber and musk in the dry down, but I don't get any black coconut(whatever that is). For the price it is a decent snag for someone on a budget. It can be bought for around $20 so FCUK it, give it a try.

From the bottle I though that this smelled just like Burberry Men. When sprayed on clothing however it has a bit of a soapy smell to it but that's not a bad thing. I like it and I like the low price. I was expecting this to smell like a tropical beach. It doesn't smell anything like that. Still good for casual wear.

I bought this for my man, as recommended below, and he loves it! It's his favourite right now, even though he is a fan of pricier perfumes. He couldn't believe Friction sells at such a low price. Summer holidays in a bottle! It works for all seasons though.

1st Impression "reminds me with a very retro perfume called TED LAPIDUS" Very Fresh scent , Dry down to better smell, Normal Sillage and Normal Longevity. Prefect for work and casual wearing. Definitely a summer scent

This is a mild one, gym or casual. Very pleasant and most people will like. Nobody will take you seriously with this, save it for weekends or children's parties.

Very light, refreshing, nice scent. Moderate longevity and doesn't project too much. 9/10.

FCUK Friction for Him is an excellent masculine, far better than its female equivalent. This aromatic blend of lavender, cardamom, geranium and sea water almost equals that of an upper mainstream fragrance. The men in my life really need to smell this inexpensive delight. Dominant lavender scents on men drive me bonkers, in a good way of course. Thankfully my boyfriend knows this and uses it to his advantage. I believe that many women would find themselves impressed by FCUK Friction for Him. I tested FCUK Friction for Him on my own skin first, and spent the entire day smelling like a 'sexy man'. I can't say that this fragrance is unisex. It's masculine through and through. FCUK fragrances are fairly underrated, which shouldn't be so. Their perfumes may not be extraordinary, but they are very pleasant and easy to wear. FCUK Friction for Him is easily the best masculine from their range. I was most impressed by the longevity, which held for around seven hours on my skin. The lavender accord is strong from beginning to end. I highly recommend FCUK Friction for Him.

Reviewing early as I just picked up blind a 100ml bottle of this for $8, and I'm very impressed. It's a citrusy freshie in the vein of Azzaro Chrome or CK One, the kind that was popular in the 90s. I guess FCUK was a bit late to the ball. They're not really breaking any new ground here, but it just smells great regardless. Shines from the get go with punchy mandarin and green notes over a watery base. A potent opening, great projection, sillage and longevity. What amazing value! Would make a great gift for a teen that has never owned EDTs (and I have to assume with a name like FCUK they are marketing at teens), but would be equally at home in any guy's collection. My one criticism, and this is going to sound petty, but off the bat it's clear that the bottle just plain sucks. Seems more than a coincidence that it's also shaped like CK One, but my gripe is with the plastic cap and shroud; they are a leaky, greasy mess.

I swear I've definitely smelled a fragrance identical to FCUK Friction at a store before. It's certainly not Fierce or Mont Blanc Legend. It's a good thing that Friction doesn't smell like either of those fragrances cuz I find them to be just awful with their shrieking metallic citrus notes. FCUK friction is a fruity aquatic in every sense of the word. It's clean, but not soapy. It's fruity fresh, but doesn't rely on citrus fruits. It has a very sultry base. I'm not sure what is in the sultry base that I'm smelling, but it's almost like a non-edible buttery sugar-cookie-scented leather. It definitely possesses aldehydic naunces. I first saw this fragrance in 2013. I do slightly regret not purchasing it then - it's great for a "generic" men's fresh fragrance!

This is the bargain basement version of Chanel Platinum Egoiste that I've been hunting for now for a while. It's certainly not 100% similar, and does give off a slight fierce and montblanc legend vibe. But it has that metallic sharpness and mellow lavender base that the others are missing. If you're a fan of the Chanel, you seriously can't go wrong with this. This is to PE what Cool Water is to Green Irish Tweed.

Fresh, clean, slightly fruity, musky manly with a hit of coconut. Classically masculine. Smells great. Reminds me of Jimmy Choo Man Aqua. Have this in my rotation always. Good to have options like this so the expensive stuff lasts longer. A no brainer for super cheap.

A pleasant scent , well worth for the price . Do not expect a longevity or a silage monster but if you are going for the local grocery store or to pick up your takeaway this perfume is a very good one to wear . Got compliments from complete strangers wearing this .

This is the sexiest fragrance I have ever smelled. I bought it for my boyfriend and he wore it out one night and a girl stopped him and said "I am not hitting on you, I just need to know what fragrance you are wearing." Buy this for your man, it's amazing!!!!!

Great fragrance for someone that is new to the whole fragrance business. Smells great and is super affordable, wear this often to work as it isn't overpowering and therefore is very pleasant for the Majority of people I interact with.

This is a nice, cheap fragrance. It smells mainly of Lavender, with a hint of Coconut. It is reminiscent of somewhere tropical, like the Bahamas. It has medium sillage but poor longevity.

This is a direct mix of A&F Fierce and Curve Original. Therefore, it is decent, especially for the price.
