Gap Deep

Love this stuff, but it really is very weak. It's similar to the original Nautica Oceans (the alcohol-free, water based fragrance) and it was much more potent. It's also very similar to the first Very Sexy for Men by Victoria's Secret. But both of those are now discontinued and, in my opinion, are not worth the price you'd pay on eBay or Offer Up. The newest formulation smells pretty much the same as it always has, but I am swear it's watered down. 15-20 minutes before it's a skin scent. But Gap Outlet sells 3.4 oz bottle for about $10, so who am I to complain?

This was a favorite of guy I used to hang with. To me, it smelled of confident masculinity, not in your face, but very very sexy up close. Absolutely loved this perfum, and I would love to own it as a keep sake. Its a scent I can easily imagine and hence remember, unlike some overly complex synthetic smells.

Very fresh, sweet, and citrusy. Even though this was released way before Versace Eros Energy, I would still say this is a pretty good dupe of it.

I love green fragrances so I bought this last winter and put it away to wear this Spring. I wore it a few times over the last couple weeks so I'm now able to give my opinion... Right from the start, I get the violet in Fahrenheit. But that's it, no petro or leather like in Fahrenheit. But the violet is definitely similar. Gap Deep is very green and grassy with some added citrus. It has a sport vibe like most Adidas/Puma fragrances. And it's just as synthetic which should be expected. Ideal for spring and summer day time. However, the performance is horrible. Lasts 30 minutes on skin. And I'm saying gone completely from skin even if you bury your nose into where you sprayed. It's too bad because I rather like the green-focused composition. But the poor longevity is too frustrating to deal with. Not even worth taking along a decant because re-applying every 30 minutes would be too much of a nuisance. Despite the weakness I'm willing to give it one more short before swapping or giving it away. In hopes that it matures, which fragrances often do, I decided to put away my bottle back in my closet until Spring 2020. I'll edit my review accordingly next year.

Update Spring 2020: Still weak. In fact, it might even be weaker it barely has any smell. Either I got a bad batch or fake. Or it's been reformulated to nothingness. Sucks because it use to be an awesome green/grassy/citrus scent. Shame. Tossed it out. It would not be right to sell or gift such a weak fragrance.

I don t agreed with main accord ... It s really fresh and waterly ... citrical and very sparkling ... Lightly smoky and bright ... May be in the PACO by Paco Rabanne style ... An spring time or summer morning fragance

Gap Deep, Electric & Inspire all smell nearly identical. They're weak smells, teenager scents, completely blah and not worth the buy. Inspire is the best and not even listed on here.

Fresh, great for the Summer and is not overwhelming. Always a good buy at Gap (around $10 – $15 depending on discount codes used).
