Inséparables

This is what I've been looking for. If you enjoy the Oriana, Sintra or Love Don't Be Shy style of perfume but find each of them a bit too much in some way or another - too powdery, too bitter or too sweet (possibly in that order), this has an echo of those scents but is so gentle, fluffy and refined. It's absolutely precious. I am hoping to see the score of this one rise (don't know how anyone could "hate" this perfume - it's so soft and lovely) as more people try it. What it smells like to me is sophisticated sweet powder, gentle petitgrain aerated with neroli, and rose jam. I love any perfume with vetiver, which is fast becoming a top three note for me. I suppose the vetiver and patchouli ground it nicely. The perfume it's most like - to my nose - is Love Don't Be Shy Extreme, which has a rose element, and it works. This is a bit like the powder of rose Loukhoum, but not dense. In style, this reminds me of the perfume style of Alberto Morillas or Honorine Blanc, in that it's diffuse and full of light. Though this might offend purists, it's also great to layer - for example with sweet berry perfumes, or ramping up the neroli with something like Neroli Plein Sud. For me it's just right and I'm delighted by it.

Beautiful! Love at first sniff ❤️ The petitgrain and rose opening is delightful, while the base places this composition firmly in the 2020's. The vibe is feminine and happy, a little bit sensual but still elegant. Classic, yet undeniably modern. There is a little bit of spiciness in the opening, not sure where it's from but very pleasant. The ylang-ylang is not really detectable but combines with the sandalwood to make the woody note extra creamy. I'm not usually a big fan of a mandarin note, but it is used very artfully and minimally here, bringing just a touch of juiciness to the mix. I guess this is more of a spring/fall fragrance, but it could work nicely for summer evenings too. Longevity is incredible!

The top notes rise gently from a fresh, juicy sweetness. A light sweetness reminiscent of water-soaked fruit, with a hint of floral nectar. The tartness of petitgrain merely defines the contours without overpowering the composition. The green notes of citrus are also softened, giving the overall impression a smooth, rounded quality. As the fragrance moves into the heart notes, the sweetness settles slightly, yet retains its transparency as it seems to dissolve into the air. The base notes feature a light sweetness and subtle woody nuances. The lingering scent is soft and persists close to the skin. The Rose Cœur Fou from the same series was a bright, airy fragrance. Compared to that, the emotional range here is more restrained. This one remains consistently even, evoking a sensation of maintaining a gentle body temperature and humidity. It is reminiscent of a beautiful satin dress by GIVENCHY. The scent unfolds like fabric that softly catches the light and flows smoothly. It has a sweetness without any heaviness; the sillage is moderate, and the longevity is on the shorter side. It is the sort of fragrance that blends naturally into the flow of everyday life. It leaves behind only a quiet trace of faintly dissolved floral nectar.

This is like if love don’t be shy and Delina Exclusif had a baby, with a sprinkle of petitgrain. There must be orange blossom in here surely, it’s like the most noticeable note too. This is an ethereal, fluffy kind of composition - I imagine a princess wearing this, it’s incredibly pretty. Wears light and requires reapplication - however its projects loud once on and is such a pretty fragrance.

After reading the review below mine, I’m desperate to find a sample of this. Based on their review, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve been on the hunt for a scent that belongs to the oriana/LDBS family but is lighter overall. Need to find it ASAP!
