Cathedral

This is one of Haus of Hecate’s best works, if not the best. Starts off with an interestingly blended birch with smoky leather, and slowly over the course of a few minutes it develops into this sweet, almost cloying leather with some patchouli hidden in there. I cannot quite describe how much I love this scent and how well it sits on me (very unisex btw.) I am layering it with Soft Goth if I want to bring a more gourmand side of it, or Blood Moon for a fresher, fruity-floral approach.

I love this. It's one of the few perfumes I have a full bottle of rather than a decant. I think the title is a bit misleading though. To me, this frag smells exactly like a shisha lounge. I can smell the 'glazed chestnuts' in it too, but I don't know if I would've picked up on that if I hadn't read it. This is a really decent perfume for the price point. Lasts well and decently strong without being overpowering. Definitely buy if you love the smell of shisha!

I absolutely adore this scent, just not as a perfume. I tried it as a perfume and for me personally just a little bit too strong, even as an evening perfume. That said Haus of Hecate also sells Cathedral as a reed diffuser which as a home fragrance is just divine. There's nothing better out there!

An excellent and interesting blend. Can see why it might be polarising to some, but to me it’s unique and fun. Very gothic, dark, and has a dusty quality to it. Unisex but leans feminine.
