H&M Garden - Sunlit dew

This is perfect - the exact smell of a florist's shop, cut stems and plant food. Green and watery are the main notes but there's an edge of citrus and some very light florals as it starts to dry down. Not the longest lasting but there's not so much of a base to dry down to so that's not hugely surprising, and it's got an impressive projection considering the price. I can't wait to try layering this with other scents I own (Mugler Aura seems like a good candidate) but it's lovely, clean and refreshing on its own. I'll probably start carrying this in my gym bag as well, the small bottle is perfectly sized for on the go and it's the sort of thing that'd be perfect after a shower.

This fragrance evokes a feeling of something “thirst-quenching”. It is so fresh, bright, and I find it juicy! I wonder why it only indicates two notes. The initial spray is so fresh, resembles freshly cut grass and flower stems, it is a quite sharp green smell. It is then followed by a juicy watery smell that reminds me of cucumbers and apples or pears, it balances the sharpness of the green notes. A very nice and easy to wear fragrance. Layer it with Premier Figuer by L’Artisan Parfumeur, it will smell so delightfully aromatic.

I agree with other reviews. This is dark green juicy night grass. Somewhat surreal, maybe a little gothic. Certainly not a sun lit dew more like full moonlight dew. I enjoy it but I wish it had more staying power.

Reminds me a lot to the Jardin sur le toit by Hermés, and for small fraction of the price!
