Scandal Pour Homme Intense

Got a free sample of this when I bought Polo 67 EDP. This is fantastic, made me realize that I really like sweet fragrances. Strong sillage and projection, strong longevity. First spray it really reminded me of 1 Million Parfum, of course not the same but how it was both bubblegum sweet and kinda fresh at the same time. And sure enough Quentin Bisch worked on both. At this point I could throw a dart at anything he's worked on at random and I'll probably love it. I think this is kinda sweet and fresh actually, on a cool summer day you could definitely wear this with moderate sprays, it's not a heavy sticky sweetness, it's more aromatic and uplifting. Not getting a lick of vetiver though so not sure what's that about. But bubblegum aromatic with lots of sweetness and a leather base. Very nice. It has a lot of lift and excitement. Where I live majority of summer is relatively cool so I could wear this all year round. More of a going out fragrance though, would not wear this to the post-office, but you could, there's no rules really.

Scandal Intense is by far the most versatile in the line and from what I’ve seen is super underrated and totally slept on. This is simply the Scandal DNA made fresher and more aromatic giving it a versatility that the others don’t quite have. I think many missed the point of this release and as a result it sadly gets negative reviews or is just plain ignored. This smells so good and is perfect for every day wear while retaining the signature scent profile of the line with just enough sweetness without being overpowering or cloying in my opinion. The leather note in here is actually very light and doesn’t clash with the other notes at all. This didn’t get much attention when it was first released and still seems to be largely overlooked, but it’s worth checking out if you want something fresh and sweet but not too sweet to wear out as a daily driver. The blending in this is very smooth and it leaves behind a very noticeable sillage. All in all an excellent release which deserves more hype.

You cannot buy anything at the grocery store with 5 dollars these days, let alone a fragrance, enough with it ! And comparing Scandal EDP Intense with, say, a 15 bucks clone that one could buy at the supermarket is simply ridiculous. Otherwise, if you like the caramel note put on the top of a modern fougere DNA, you'll enjoy any Scandal, if you don't, you won't, it's that simple. From the EDT, that has the most prominent caramel note, to this Intense version, that has the most subtle caramel note, and passing through the Le Parfum version, that is the most balanced one, this is what you get - a Sauvage with caramel in it instead of peppery bergamot. Even the dry down is similar, though the notes are different. Easy to wear, almost dumb reach, very good longevity/projection, all seasons (yes, even in summer), acceptably synthetic, slightly less expensive than Sauvage.

Scandal Intense has an aromatic woody sweet opening with a touch of Leather, but it's very subtle. I also got a few whiffs of Tonka Bean and Cardamom in the opening The longevity is very good, it lasts approximately 12 hours on my skin. This fragrance projects great with about a 6 ft radius for the first hour, and a skin scent after. (Depends on skin types ) Overall Rating (8,5/10) In my honest opinion, it's a redundant release if you already own the previous Scandal flankers. It's not really a leather fragrance, but more of a "fresher/aromatic" version of the original Scandal. If you have performance issues; make sure you buy from a safe source

Does not smell like imperial valley. Regardless, extremely nice. Masculine. Aromatic at the forefront but soft and smooth due to the leather and Vetiver supporting each other. Not too sweet and not too powdery. It’s got that Quentin 0.1% metallic signature (can’t describe it any other way). Must try will likely buy since it’s quite a unique fragrance and doesn’t smell classically designer after the opening fades. The only way it should be compared with Imperial Valley is the fact that it smells fresh yet it’s using non-fresh notes like leather. No animalic notes that I get.

No clue why the rating for this is so low, maybe too little people have voted, anyway this scent starts off with a really nice aromantic aura, I wouldn’t say it’s an edible scent as youd smell from scandal absolu but it is definitely up there in the scandal lineup. it’s a nice everyday wear (even in the summer, just not the really hot days.) and it makes an impact. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 7/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 (same as scandal absolu) Overall I’d give it a nice 9/10

Fucking beautiful scent. It definitely has vanilla or some sort of sweet notes (tonka or caramel) so don’t get discouraged by the notes not being related to sweetness. It definitely has a leathery side to it, but it’s really toned down and it smells like it was made for women to like and not to be unique tho. Sillage and longevity are strong, specially the sillage, you can fill a room with 3+ sprays. Don’t overspray this PLEASE.

This is the best one of JPG Scandal line! Warm, sweet, leathery! I just cant get enough smelling it. It lasts long about 6-8 hours, but projects moderately. I could smell it on my clothes couple of days after. The first day I put it on I received about 10 compliments, people were asking me what fragrance are you wearing. Whoever is in doubt, JUST BUY IT! You wont regret! You can wear it all year around. AMAZING SCENT!

Got this for my bf and I have to say it's the most irresistible scent. It's sweet and aromatic, initially I didn't get any leather, but I think you can detect traces in the dry down. The whole house smells like a warm, masculine hug, you know? I can't explain it, but iykyk There's something super comforting about it. I think this is gonna be very popular.

This has the lovely Scandal DNA (like all other flankers) and it leans a little feminine to me in the beginning. More so than the EDT. In the dry down it gets more masculine and similar to Le Parfum. It's pretty good, but I'm bored of the Scandal line. As an owner of the Le Parfum, I don't feel the need of getting another one. They're all so similar.

Whoever says this smells anything like Imperial Valley by Gissah and any other perfume sharing a similar DNA needs to get their nose checked or simply they just didn't test this fragrance. This is an intense version of the OG. It shares the same scent profile and longer lasting on my skin.

Most reviewers find it boring but I think that is one of the best of the line along with le parfum, and also the most masculine of all but still has that youthful profile. Such an underrated flanker

this smells really good. It opens super aromatic, and it leans more toward a suede vibe instead of a typical leather smell. the vetiver isn’t the smoky kind either, more of a clean vetiver.

So damn good, very playful sweet fruity opening, i didn't find any leather on it i get more like white floral based, so I don't know what the main accords taking about, anyway i love it

One of the more masculine JPG's. This fragrance uses the base of original Scandal, adds subtle leather and cuts the dose of caramel and tonka. Yes it is WAY better than the original EDT, yes the scent quality is much improved but both Parfum and Absolu added more to this line. This fragrance is more of a ''Justice finally done to the original'' scent. I wish they would discontinue the original EDT formula and release this as new formula instead of giving a new release. Good performance too. If you think you would love the original EDT better with more vetiver + added leather with less synthetic sweetness you can check this one. If you have Absolu or Parfum I say you should stick with them. 7.5/10

Design and bottle: Very cool cap design, the 100ml bottle can be somewhat clunky as theres no good way to hold it. Good atomizer. Scent: Leathery and aromatic with a nice woody and earthy base. The clary sage gives the whole deep leather scent a lift and makes it very enjoyable. In store this was amazing, my own bottle is slightly less impressive but it might be due to not having the same maturation. Great daily wear that ive gotten multiple compliments for. Overall: Solid 8/10, if you like a masculine leather fragrance this is great, it works well as a safe pick, im unsure about the performance in heat, but in cold weather this is great.

It smells different from other scandals, it offers clean, little creamy sweetness, smooth leather, and an aromatic scent profile. The first thing that came to my mind was a washed-clean blanket, and I asked my friend, and he said the same thing. I tested this on my skin 4 times, and it lasted 7-8 hours. I believe that it can be used in the office, or on any casual day in the autumn and winter. For my taste, it is not enough for a night out and a date, the name ''intense'' contradicts with the smell profile, it is not intense enough to be called intense, but of course, for other tastes it can be intense enough.
