This one is easy to love! Giving me "Halfeti Cedar" (one of my favourite Penhaligon's fragrances) vibes, I have been obsessed with how I have smelt all day 🤩 It has to be the cypress and leather in the base that makes it so familiar (not that I'm complaining), but I would liken it more of a distant cousin than any kind of clone. The saffron and cardamom pop most for me in the opening, providing equal parts leathery and sweet spice energy. In the heart the grapefruit, light rose and vanilla really sing - bringing a sweet and slightly sour floral touch. But it really is all about that base! Oud, leather, cedar... Oh my! And why not throw in some creamy sandalwood, touch of amber and some sweet tonka to boot? Just wow!! Definitely in top 3 of the discovery set for me 😍
