Penumbra Fever

This is Karakash's interpretation of the ever-pleasing rose and oud duet. A combination that both myself and my wife adore, with several versions between us. With oud dominating the top notes, the heart of raspberry and rose is also present from the outset. For an extra floral punch there is some geranium thrown in for good measure. This awesome phase of the fragrance lasts a good few hours, pushing far off skin and hanging thick in the air... Undoubtedly one of the reasons so many houses have this fragrance pairing in their libraries!! When things finally start to settle, and the rose begins to subside - it settles to a slight leathery base of saffron, incense and birch. This chapter of the fragrance sits pretty close to skin, but lingers for several more hours. Truly a beautiful fragrance, and for those wanting to familiarise yourself with oud - a very safe place to start! And with this... That's a wrap for my walk through of the 12 Karakash fragrances. All of them have had something special about them, and across the range I feel there is something to like for everybody. For me - time will tell... But I know for certain I will be seeing something from the house in my collection before long! 🤩🔥
