Biscotti Date Toffee

I've been trying to expand my horizons and try unusual and different scents, stuff that's completely different to what i'm used to or have already. So i've been looking at some gourmands and found this gem. This is really strong on first opening, monster room filler off 5 sprays and lasted hours on fabric with strong sillage and projection. Inferno in a French Patisserie selling roast coffee would be an apt description. LOVELY stuff Its way out of left field for me to wear a scent like this, but wear it i will, damn the consequences My nose gets a beautifully sincere and photorealistic dark espresso, no cream, with a side french breakfast pain au chocolat caramel/croissant/brioche drizzled with vanilla toffee. I don't get any dates or amber. Its French coffee (indisputably the best in the world folks) with a fiery sweet caramel/toffee and a bit of orange with vanilla as if it needed anymore sweetening notes! Its got a slight booziness to it too, almost like Baileys Irish Cream. This gives it an edge i adore and makes it more male friendly. Gotta say i love this so far but hope it settles a bit as its really in your face new. a really happy scent and a good blind buy. recommended for true coffee lovers and people like me who have a scentgasm whenever i walk into a french patisserie. UPDATE...a month later this has got a lot darker and heavier in the drydown especially. Its strong and after a few hours it loses its sweet gourmand starting point completely and goes for hours as a dark, heavy incense type of musk....the basenotes are highly masculine. This is great for me personally, but its something you girls may want to bear in mind before blind buying. Basically it starts feminine/unisex and goes for hours as a dark manly musk. Thats what it feels like to me anyway. Its lovely stuff and i'm really happy with my purchase. Its France in a bottle for me. This scent is highly evocative for me of travelling and French pavement cafes, grabbing some breakfast before hitting the road again. It puts me sat outside any street cafe in France, with the warm July sun just coming up and the Tour De France race news on the TV by the coffee machine, with that delicious uniquely French smell of the morning pastries and bread being cooked fresh in the ovens of kitchens and cafes in the air all over town. Gorgeous. 7/10 from me UPDATE 8 months later and this stuff is still potent in the extreme. Somehow its not settled down or grown more subtle. It's very strong in longevity with massive projection, one of the strongest scents i own. You only need a couple of sprays with this, its incredible how tenacious and powerfully this fills the air, at first especially. go easy on the trigger, its an absolute room filler. It makes my house smell like a cafe with pastries in the oven. Awesome potency, great value, it will probably take me 20 years to use this 100ml bottle up. A Chernobyl gourmand. Its pretty linear and flat but always a pleasure, like sitting in that cafe for hours.

Boozy sticky toffee pudding / highland toffee with a hint of coffee, both of those descriptions fit this perfume very well. In mine and my mrs opinions, this leans more masculine. She has caramel pop which is definitely leaning more fem, but absolutely delicious, this is also absolutely delicious make no mistake but it's darker and more masculine leaning in comparison. I can imagine a woman of colour/darker skin complexion pulling this off well actually, but in my opinion it's more masculine for sure. Performance fresh out the box is amazing. Can smell it strong many hours after and thats the first few sprays out of the bottle. Not even matured any yet. Beautiful. The two out of the biscotti range we own, khadlaj has absolutely smashed it without a doubt. Instantly up there with my favourites.

you can't possibly find a better deal if you love the scent profile. it literally took about 2 minutes to get a compliment after trying it, because my sister brought her kids for me to take care of them soon after delivery from Notino. it was the first question she asked, what is that? meaning, you are likely to get compliments from other women with this. that and the performance at this price is just insane. I bought it for 16.80 on Notino, that's crazy.

Some say that it smells like candle wax, but it is the perfect dupe for Lush Sticky Dates, and you can't possibly find better, especially at this affordable price point. Gets me compliments, beautiful and photorealistic, and lasts a while, with good projection. It's edible toffee and a hint of vanilla caramel. Definitely will buy more bottles after mine runs out.

Just received this and first test out of the box and I know this is going to be one of my go to fragrances over the winter, sticky dates with a dose of coffee, this fills a room with the heady scent, smells so sweet and thick. Now that projection and beast mode does not last more than 10mins or so and then it drys down to a caramel toffee. I’m going to put this a way for a couple of months to maturate and hope the longevity improves. This is what I’ve been looking for, something sweet and loud. The coffee note in this is what Lush sticky dates does not have.
