Red Line

This is a nice fragrance - especially for the price I paid for it (11 bucks roughly for 90 ml, which is very low where I live) Opens up with a fairly naturalistic - albeit very sour - apple. A bit of undefined spice, reminds me a bit of sticking you nose in a tea box and inhaling deeply like I used to love doing when I was little. The jasmine has a sort of cooling effect similar to the way it behaves in Dunhill black or 4711 original although Red Line doesn't smell like any of those overall. The fragrance doesn't evolve very much over it's lifetime which I would say is probably around 5 hours. I can't speak to sillage as I find it almost impossible to figure out how far something projects when I'm wearing it myself, and my girlfriend is tired of being asked, but if I were to venture a guess I would say between a foot/30 cm and arms length - I got wiffs of myself periodically throughout the lifetime of the fragrance. Overall, this is a fine and cozy fragrance that you're probably going to enjoy if you like apple - if you're wearing it for your own pleasure at any rate - It's also not overly sweet which I have found to be a bit of a problem with most apple scents I have encountered. The box is gorgeous as well. I know this is not the best review in the world since I just got this, and I might update it later. However, I was forced to blind buy this based on a very small number of reviews - and I think most of the reviews here are doing this very decent fragrance dirty, so I wanted to throw in my two scents to balance them out a bit. In summation: If you can get this cheap, it's probably a safe blind buy if you like apple, and it doesn't perform as terribly as others here would have you believe. I would think it's fairly office safe as well. Even if you don't end up like it, you are almost certain to know someone who will take it off your hands.

Not sure if this is a like or love, gotta give this one a bit more wearing. Really simple and linear, the bottle describes the scent perfectly in my opinion, fruity and floral mix the whole way through. Okay sprayer, it feels smooth but doesn't distribute very well and the scent kinda goes all over the place. Pretty good longevity, it lasts about 5-6 hours on my skin then it gets really weak and it's barely noticeable for 2 more hours. Moderate sillage. At first I thought the opening is going to give me a headache but surprisingly it didn't. If you want this to perform you really have to go heavy on the sprays. Not a bad one if you are just starting your collection and you want something that has a unique DNA. You get what you pay for, for the price this is quite decent. 7/10

Scent is ok but very synthetic. I am not even sure why I bought this one years ago. It literally vaporizes within minutes of putting it on. Barely any longevity or projection, next to zero. I would avoid.

this pos scent dies out before it even reaches your skin, maybe you can use this as a spray to fend off against rabid animals? idk

Well now. This smells like something that Michel Almairac might have done in the late 1990s. Surprisingly nice composition. Apple in the opening is gone in minutes. The base is floral-woody and musky. It's got a "wet sand" feel and maybe even a orange-glossomy nuances. Very nice!

Beautiful, inexpensive dupe for Lacoste RED, only it lasts soooo short that I find it discouraging! It immediately vaporized from my husband's clothes:(

Nice scent but absolutely no sillage. The longevity is poor. Synthetic.
