Taureau De Combat

Nose Note #903 Same juice, different bottles with Royal Taboo. I can't say if I'm dissapointed or not. I like the DNA but I really hoped this would be sort of similar but a different and interesting take. No. This is literally the same with Royal Taboo. The deep drydown is a bit different. I've had a feeling for some time that Lattafa use the same base material for most of their perfumes, here I have the same problem. If you compare Royal Taboo with this side by side - after 3-4 hours Taureau smells a bit boring with this amber/woody sort of base with the Centaurus spicy accord on the top. Royal Taboo has none of that - the medicinal aspect of the scent stays to the end even in the base. I guess I can't describe the differences better. They are very similar. Don't buy both. Better try before buying. My wife doesn't like neither. Longevity - strong, but not crazy. Sillage - on the strong side. Definately for men, nothing really for the girls here. 8/10, after Royal Taboo I didn't get impressed as much by getting the same juice

A bit of short story.. I did smell Creed Centaurus at the airport along with Creed Oud Zarian. I was blown away by oud zarian and for the first time I sprayed a perfume on myself from the airport but didn't really care for Centaurus. Once I got to Jordan I was looking around and saw this perfume and decided to try it out.. I loved it! This is very sexy in a mature way, I would wear it when I'm dressing up for a nice evening. I even wore it last week at night - Mid July - when it had a cool breeze. It's amazing. If you are thinking of blind buying it, absolutely go for it. I will be buying few more bottles just incase any different batches later on be different.

One of my favourite recent Lattafa releases. After a short masculine opening, it settles into a warm spicy mixture of tobacco, cinnamon, benzoin and heliotrope. I think it's unisex, but I tend to like masculine leaning fragrances. For the first two hours it's an absolute beast, it creates a very strong scent bubble. After that, it becomes tamer, but it lasts all day on my clothes. The bottle is hideous and impractical, but the juice is amazing. Had to order an instant backup bottle. Hope this will get more attention and love online.

Glad to see this one up here finally. I absolutely love it. I'm a huge fan of Centaurus, and I also own Crimson. I would say Crimson is closer to the Creed, and this one is a very slight twist, it is just a little sweeter. Though it's close enough that I think it's redundant. If you like this DNA at all, it's a must have. Well, either this or Crimson, probably whichever is more affordable to you.

Finally, Fragrantica add this to the database ... 6+ months after its release Is it any good? YES! A softer and less spicy version that is very close to Centaurus. The perfume smells very very elegant, I’m not really a perfume person and this is an amazing signature piece, i just sprayed this perfume and I haven’t smelt the dry down yet but the initial notes smell fantastic, you can pick up on the cardamom and amber very well

A classy fragrance after a long time.

I am not a fan of the dry down to be honest. I think its the patchouli that kinda bothers me, but it is not bad. Not my favourite but not trash either. Leaning more masculine. The bull is made of metal so that's a plus point. 6/10.

This scent is in my Top 5 from lattafa, since the day i bought it. Its decent projection, not at all bothering. If I were to describe /compare the scent, it smells to me, like Eternal oud mixed with Naxos. Very good projection for 2-3 hours on skin, but the full profile lasts for about 6 hours (with diminishing projection). Then it dries down to a nice ambery masculine skin scent.

@shugahunty you realize that Taureau means bull, and the bottle is a reference to bull fighting right? It has nothing to do with the calf in Exodus. This comment reminds me of the 80's satanic panic and my mom lmao. I also believe that one of the main features of the calf was it color and material, which definitely wasn't bronze.

I smelled this the other day and I know it's not in the "Smells like" section but I think it smells like Afro Leather by Maison Alhambra. I absolutely love that dupe so I'd probably want this one eventually.

The company needs to stop making shrine statues as bottles. The golden calf, a famous idol the Israelites made to WORSHIP in Exodus 32. Stop praising false gods. Pray over your perfumes ladies and gents.
