Curve Chill for Men

Wow, an original smelling flanker! Praise be to the Perfume Gods! I got this unsniffed, because I am a 'completist' when it comes to Houses I really like and I was SO not disappointed... This has only a hint of the aromatic greens in the original Curve for men (bergamot & lime) and the aldehydes are not too much and give a 'fresh air' feel. Green and citrusy only in a cooling, demulcent way it goes into the heart of gentle white pepper, sweet violet, dry corriander and lush green tea. The overall effect of this mix is relaxing and light. It finds the perfect balance between slightly spiced, green and sheer floral, genius! The drydown is a woody spicy musk that does not overpower the rest of the scent but brings it cleanly, smoothly and nicely to the skin. Soft but sexy, crisp but not loud this scent is great for anytime, but shines in the spring and early summer before it's stinking hot out. Both the mens and the womens are quite good and I've thought of getting HER version also...Super!! Sillage: decent Longevity: above average Overall: 4.25/5 True to its name it's the perfect scent to wear when you want to 'chill' or feel cooler and more natural. This is just wonderful after a shower and feels great with worn-in jeans and a crisp white shirt (or favorite tee). It's not a 'stunner' or instant classic, but it is a very well mixed very understated scent that I happen to be very, very fond of...perhaps more than the original.

I like Curve Chill very much for its clean, fresh scent. It is definitely of the citrus variety, and it goes on very cool which I find most refreshing. It makes a great every day choice and is more of the Spring/Summer variety. The one negative would be that it is not particularly long lasting. I have gotten many compliments from females and my girlfriend loves it. You can smell the fruits and feel the tropical breeze with Chill, and for me, that is very pleasing indeed.

Wow, I might be one of the few fans of this cologne. This one really surprised me. Very clean and pleasant cologne for being a Curve flanker. Shower-fresh citrus perfect for casual use during warm weather. I find myself reaching for this cologne often when I want something simple and casual to wear. Perfect for simply running errands or going to the mall. The good thing about this one is that it isn't very common so you'll stand out. Also found it at Ross for cheap.

I enjoy the smell of the Curve line I've tried. Chill is a standout for me. I like its fresh, citrus notes immediately after a morning shower. Chill receives positive compliments from men and women. Is this a scent for a younger crowd? If you like Chill wear it regardless of your age. What makes a scent age appropriate?

Really nice warm weather scent. Only a faint resemblance to CK One. Much less dated than the original, arguably topping it, though true to the DNA. Glamor-casual vibe. I like this and I don't even really care for the original at all.

its okay. doesnt last that long though. smells= like a grapefruit. I wear this 2nd half of spring. overall 6.5/10

Has no one compared this to Creed's Silver Mountain Water yet? That scent is unisex, so I'd agree with the reviewer below me. Every year, for about a week, some time in the fall when the weather shifts, I wear nothing but Curve Chill during the day. It's a weird ritual. While not my favorite Curve, I do think that this is probably the best blended Curve I've encountered. After all of my scent exploration these past few months, I finally realized it's similar to Creed's Silver Mountain Water, but not quite. It's as if original Curve, CK One, and Silver Mountain Water were all combined, but with more of whatever aroma chemical it is they use to make that "cold" smell. It's actually decently strong and long lasting for being a Curve as well.

TonyAKAMrClean got it right. This is the Curve version of Silver Mountain Water. It’s recognizable immediately. Very close to Banana Republic’s SMW clone Metal Rain. I think Metal Rain has more Violet and this has more soapy aldehydes and musk, making Metal rain smell “stronger,” my wife absolutely disagrees and says the Curve Chill is stronger. Either way, this is an absolute steal for a really nice SMW DNA with that curve twist that always punches above its weight.

Picked up a half oz bottle for 5 bucks and i am pleased with that purchase. This is a nice clean fresh scent. Very safe with curve qualities but less funky smelling, more straight citrus. It reminds me of a fragrance called Exceptional Because You Are that I always used to get as a free sample. But not the same. Anyway it's safe and smells good. Fresh, appealing. SUMMER

I was surprised by this one. I agree that it smells like Azarro Chrome but it smells better. Chrome lasts longer and projects better but this is better smelling. I get about 4 hours or so longevity. Overall I am very pleased with this.

Smells like warm summer nights. Powder-y, tea-like and overall just a nice fresh chill type of scent. I only really wear this fresh out of the shower or as an air freshener. Would recommend but don't pay over 20$. 7.3/10.

its weak...the bottle offers more excitement than the contents inside..its just ok...blahh...well...be great to use in creating a new blend....guess i just visualized it to be good but sadly....expected more 6 out of 10

Super duper cardamomy but very fresh at the same time. I'm a fan of this one and like wearing it for summer. Pretty shit longevity though

Great for the gym or a quick errand, that's about it because it lasts an hour on my skin. clean & easy, not going to offend anyone.

This is a carbon copy of CK One with less sillage and longevity. Purposeless. Get the better version!

It's like a VERY dry Azzaro Chrome, it also fades in an hour or so. Not my cup of Claiborne

This scent is identical to a fruity 2000's hairspray for women. Strong fruity hairspray, there are no other words to describe this smell. This is definitely a more juvenile scent, and I'm not sure if even suited for men. I can still smell it on my roommate ever so slightly ~12 hours later after she comes home from work, but she is extremely heavy handed and sprays on clothes.

I'm reviewing the deodorant, which works pretty good. The Curve Soul and the thing wont crank up so I'm pleased this 1 you can push up from the bottom. This is no Hugo Orsnge but it does the trick for a deodorant and it smells fairly good,for a decent amount of time. All in all hood for the 8$ I paid

I love the smell and hate the longevity. A light and very inoffensive lime/tea/violet fragrance. A nice beginners fragrance for the warmer months. I have had a mini of this for about 5 years and have one more wearing. It won't be replaced but I will miss it. HA HA of course I'm joking!

this honestly has some cloying and synthetic notes that really make it nauseating and i honestly cannot give this a positive review because it smells cheap and poorly put together. I think the curve varieties are gimmicks and I cannot believe that I actually bought this stuff

Nice scent as described in previous reviews. However, longevity is this scent's A-CHILL-es heel. Shame it has none other of Achille's finer attributes to compensate. Similar scent, and warrior performance, from Azzaro Chrome or, to a lesser extent, Lacoste Essential.

some of the middle notes make me thirsty, like some allergy. The middle note fumes fast in tropical wheather and the top notes not last even 5 minutes on me. =(

The citrus at the top of this isn't refreshing, it's just sour. And after that, it all quickly disappears.

Floral peppery fruit. Smells fake.

Very 2000’s freshie. I recall smelling this back in the day but I don’t remember where I smelled it or who I smelled it on. Smelling it again takes me back when me and all the other boys my age had shaggy hair, wore Hollister T-shirts, and flip flops or converses. I can’t believe it was 20 years ago this freshie came out, I was probably listening to Fergie or Fallout Boy on my MP3 player the last time I smelled this. I bought it again for nostalgia but now I can really detect the notes. It is a spring/summer scent for sure. You are blasted with lime, bergamot, tea, and violet upon first spray. The spices are there, but it’s subtle. It is borderline unisex, but I think it’s much too spicy for a woman. I didn’t get much aldehydes, I feel the lime overpowers it. This isn’t a full on citrus scent, the violet, pepper, and cardamom gives it that powdery spiciness. I kept smelling my arm and the bottle over and over because unfortunately, it disappears in less than an hour. At the price for it though, you can’t go wrong with it if you want a simple freshie for cheap.

There is a small window before dry down where this would be my favorite scene of all time, easily. In that window, Chill smells fresh and clean like the steam after a shower, 'cold' like an undisturbed, Midwestern snow when you first step outdoors, and the pepper notes tuck everything in, together and crisp. In this window, Chill smells the exact opposite of 'cheap'; it smells damn near like the height of success. Synthetic? Yes, but unabashedly and purposely so, as if resultant only from competence and quiet, dignified influence. But then it quickly dries down, and as it does it loses pretty much all of that luster... I'm a fan, wish I could be a bigger one.

I had most of the curve collection in Middle/High School. This was one of my favorites, kinda like a minty CK1 that actually had a mentholic/cooling feel when sprayed. I thought it was giving me an allergic reaction then realized they were playing into the “chill” part of it. Surprised more fragrances didn’t run with this type of thing.

I have a bottle that I got on sale at Target. I am a new to this, so my critique is that of a beginner (age 29). Anyway, this fragrance kinda smells like Irish Springs soap with a hint of vanilla to me. I can smell the sandalwood just fine too. The lavender stands out as well.

Be careful. I think this cologne is alright, coming from a sixteen year old. It fades very fast, but something you would put on after working out or during the middle of the day. Not a great cologne there. It is cheap though and would make a good gift for a twelve year old.

It's a woody, but clean scent. It doesn't last long and sits close to the skin. So if you want it to last, spray it on your clothes. Last about one to three hours... 4.2oz Bottle $12.00

A simple tea floral, mostly violet and a hit of green tea, followed by a sweet/musky finish, not too far off from CK One.

very similar to CK One average longevity
