Lust

I discovered this as a teenager, after a quick stroll into Lush for this months funky bath bomb. Admittedly, it's way too sexy for me to be enjoying at that age, but hey, the nose wants what the nose loves! Back to now, i'm almost 30 and this is still the jasmine i reach for when i want a super indolic, heady and lush perfume. Nothing beats it. It's animalic and intoxicating, certainly not for everyone, but absolutely for me. I can't get enough!

I'm yet to find a perfume that transports me this way this does. When I wear it, I am pure love and embers. It is heady jasmine on a walk home to your villa on a hot Greecian evening, the air is heavy. Jasmine's Rosey sisters nestle demurely in between the blossoms, pops of baby pink. Under your feet are little ylang ylang petals which bleed and pepper the air as you stroll...

very viscous version of jasmine i love it sm its quite aggressive, yet comforting, this scent is like some fine shyt punched you in the face then held a cold compress to you its dirty, yet refined (cus its jasmine), so it reminds me of a girl whose effortlessly hot even in the back of a sweaty club at an ungodly hour

this is delicious! smells exactly like the edp, but it's much more convenient to bring on the go. this is also one of the better solid perfumes i've ever tried, it melts into my skin really easily and has great projection! definitely a date night scent, love this!

Incredible solid perfume that actually melts into skin and lasts all day. This jasmine is super sultry, cozy and beautiful. I personally enjoy this on its own after shower or layered with Gucci Rush when I go out.

It's probably because of the name, but it does feel sexy. Like hot girl on a kissing rampage at the club. (And sapphic for some reason, I don't know why, but that's my association). It's a nice smell, but I don't reach for it very often because it's also very strong and a bit overwhelming.

Honestly the opening isn't great and kind of pungent and then musty but I looove the drydown. Like a strong pot of jasmine tea. The first time I smelled it strongly reminded me of a surf shop for some reason and I can't pin why. Maybe the mustiness, haha but I like it

I’m a jasmine lover and I got this solid version to road test the scent before committing to a larger bottle. For me the sillage is poor and this doesn’t last long in my skin. I have noticed the scent sticks around longer on clothing. I love the scent and it smells like spring jasmine bushes wafting. I’ll have to get the spray which everyone seems to agree is much stronger and has better sillage. Mostly just disappointed in the staying power tbh

I like how raw and indolic this is. Smells like jasmine flowers that are starting to rot. It's pretty solid. I'm sure it could layer well, but I haven't got anything I'd layer it with. Not complex or particularly intriguing, but it's what it says on the tin and it doesn't smell bad.

Smells like a fart I did in the shower.

i've already reviewed lust (and described my experience with the liquid vs. the solid versions) on the page for the liquid perfume, but i do want to add something about the solid (which is the one i own) here: the little container it comes in sucks... you have to push the balm up by applying pressure to the bottom of the tube, which is hard to do without pushing way too much out. then you can't twist it back down or anything; you have to press the excess balm down using your wrist or by recapping the tube, which gets messy. why couldn't this just be a twist-up? i'm tempted to repot it into something else that allows me more control over how much i apply, particularly as a little goes a long way. anyway, i do really love this scent and find that it's probably one of lush's best offerings. it is strong, sweet, addictive jasmine. it layers well with other white florals and certain freshies – when i want to tone it down i pair it with le monde gourmand's sel ocean as i find that the honeysuckle and lily of the valley make the jasmine a bit less intense.

Wish my husband liked it, he has really bad allergies to flowers and the realistic jasmine type scents totally congests, so it's a wear when he's at work thing for me. A review of the new pushup black container... this sits on my desk and the lable is like peeling and coming off :/

A strong, beautiful, heady fragrance, both the solid and the spray. Beware the staining on the clothes! If Lush went easy on the colouring of the product, I'd repurchase, but it's an issue.

A very realistic and clean flower scent, it smells like a summer garden with a 50/50 mix of real jasmine and honeysuckle.

This is not from 2024... I have a solid Lust perfume from 2011.
