Nautica Aqua Rush

I don't like many Nautica frags, but this one makes up for the other screeching synthetic failures I've sniffed. This is a simple citrus woods with ocean accents. The citrus is synthetic but this is my favorite teakwood I've encountered because it's softer and not overpowering. If you're sniffing for the mint, you'll find it, but I notice sage and thyme more. Nice ineffable "ocean" quality to it. Moderate sillage, overall brief, doesn't go through much of a change except the citrus fades quickly. A safe neutral choice for spring and summer and a nice layer companion for other citrus heavy scents that need a teakwood boost. The sail shaped bottle is nice, faux brushed chrome top looks great, and there's a yellow accent flourish to the sprayer that didn't go unnoticed. Overall, a great deal and a safe blind buy if you need to pad out your spring and summer selection.

Great perfume and a very fresh one, got to smell the deodorant first then i decided do order the perfume, well i'm not disappointed! One of my favorites! Very watery, a handful of citrus that after 1 hour becomes sweet citrus, anybody who smelled it loved it, people asked me what kind of perfume i'm using - they were very surprised. I'm giving it total of 8/10, because of the longevity that lasts about 4-6 hours I will but it again.

This was a blind buy for me after reading the reviews on here and at £8 for 100ml delivered it was rude not to really! I was not disappointed, it is a nice fresh scent with a lovely dry down (I can't get too technical yet as I'm only just getting into my fragrances after years in the wilderness!). I wish it lasted longer, but for the price I really can't complain and I'd definitely buy it again.

This stuff is actually very good in my opinion. It's just like fierce but a tad less sweet and musky. The silage and longevity are lacking of course but, you can always buy the small bottle for 10 bucks and reapply every few hours and chicks will be telling you you smell real good, just as good as fierce.

There is nothing to think about here. Aqua Rush is fun and refreshing and totally inoffensive. It's the fragrance equivalent of a catchy pop song. Love it.

I love it and also my GF loves it on me, very simple classy, and not pricy I tried it in the winter and I will buy a new one for the summer for sure

Haven't worn this one in a while, but I sprayed this on tonight as a random after shower scent and was surprised how much I like it. Opens with a super realistic citrus zest for about a whole entire second. Then it smells like windex. But hold on, just give it like five minutes. It's got your typical Nautica salty cucumber thing going, but there's some nice violet leaf and at the end of it all a sweet "teakwood" accord that's interesting. It reminds me of a Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works, but it's not an unpleasant scent at all. I'm certainly not gonna complain at 10 cents per milliliter. I kind of get reminded of Polo Sport (hey, same perfumer), but I'm sure the Fierce comparison is accurate too. Probably a generational thing. If you like either of those scents and see it in a discount shop it's worth a chance. I wouldn't seek it out or anything, but it's more than worth the price of a fast food combo. Thumbs up.

As an owner of Mont Blanc legend I was able to compare these two colognes side by side. They are extremely similar in the opening almost identical but the dry down of the aqua rush lacks a bit of depth and the Mont Blanc seems to be a bit more masculine and more potent. The Aqua rush dries down to a clary sage and woodsy note scent with an aquatic vibe. I mainly bought this for my little brother who is going into high school as it is a cheap and decent quality cologne. It smells great and seems to last a decent amount of time. If you own fierce or legend no need for this cologne. Also this is a safe blind buy and a mass pleaser. Good stuff nautica.

If you want a long lasting non synthetic fragrance, then maybe spend more than $10 to $15. If you want a good smelling fragrance that only costs about $10 to $15, then check this out. Spray heavy and spray your clothes. If you do that you can get a few hours out of this, and it's going to smell good. You're not going to offend anybody if you spray too heavy, because it's just a light sweet aquatic scent. I'm not going to say that you should run out and pick it up right now. But if you want a light sweet aquatic scent to use for really hot days, and you don't want to spend very much at all, you could do worse.

Starts out a little screechy and synthetic, but the dry down gets much better. Good cheapie that's inoffensive, aquatic, citrusy and woody. Longevity is about what it should be for a $15 fragrance, not good with little projection after about an hour. Good safe warm weather fragrance. Is it groundbreaking? no. Will i buy a second bottle? not likely, but even with my huge collection, I don't regret buying this. This is good for the gym, running errands on a warm day or as an out of the shower scent.

So this has been compared to A&F's Fierce, wow. Fierce is a synthetic bomb while this has actually done a good job of making the yuzu note seem authentic. I've written a review for CK's One 2014 Summer scent where I go on about the whole summer/beach/ocean flankers doing the whole "lime/melon/aquatic" worn out notes mix.............this actually smells natural and not a rehash of beach scents.

This is quite simple and synthetic, is not a bad fragrance, is just simple. After the drydown, (something that happens after 1h) it became exactly the same smell of Nivea Men Body Wash Fresh with the Teakwood mixed with some amber and Yuzu. BTW the Yuzu note combined with some saltness in the beginning is really refreshing ! Office Safe, but works better in the Gym, or after shower.

Surprisingly this fragrance is good its inexpensive but good nice clean smell shower fresh it last about 8 hours too when you use everything with it body spray after shave balm & body wash I got the set for $35 it was well worth it if you find it for a good price buy it its not an amazing scent but it smells good it doesn't smell cheap like others say it's a every day casual scent

Excellent aqua styled cologne with a nice citrus opening and woodsy dry down. Very fresh and invigorating. Has nice longevity on me. Can't beat the price either, just got one of those 95% bottles from fragrance net for under $9.00.

very nice underrated scent for the summer. Nautica aqua rush is quite generic for a citrus summer cologne but not bad for 17 bucks at ross lol. actually seen it in my local Sephora then got it at ross couple hours later.

Just opening the cap and smelling it it smells like Polo Sport but when sprayed it has a fresher scent like ocean.. smells really good!! First time I met my gf she said I smelled really good so that’s a plus!!!

I really like Nautica Aqua Rush. The teak wood and sea water notes really shine on my skin, it reminds me of sitting on a dock or lakeside in a wood chair in the summer.

Nothing fancy here. Definitely will not offend. Clean with a warm dry down. 8/10 for its fresh and unique, -lower man on the totem pole- prestige station.
