I have yet to try the real version of Givenchy Gentleman Only Absolute as every time it is restocked it quickly sells out. I guess it's all the shills quickly rushing to buy it and mark the price up in their sad little shops. Hopefully Givenchy re-releases it the same way they are doing with their blue and red fragrances this year. It's a smooth fragrance, a warm spicy. dark and resinous, then there's some Vanilla and cinnamon to help give the fragrance life and keep it from being boring. Safe to say if you like Givenchy - Gentleman EDP you'll like this. The projection is a bit above arms length for maybe 30 minutes give or take longevity, 2 hours maximum with about 5 sprays - it does stick to your skin much longer and at around $15 we couldn't care less if it's synthetic smelling. If you need something to wear during a quick run out to the store, something for a school locker, in a gym bag after a work out, or just want to give someone a cheap gift, this is it as it doesn't smell like you bought it from the dollar store. I'd seriously pay 3 to 4 times the price if it actually performed throughout the day. Then again there's always spicebomb EDT.

90% similar to Givenchy Gentleman Only Absolute, but less performance of the already lightweight original. Less harsh than Spicebomb but in that general direction. Of all the new brand clones, I’ve been most impressed by this one. Picked it up under $15 and am surprised by the ROI on this one given how often I reach for it. Expect to re-apply throughout the day, but it’s great.

I would not describe this as a spring scent. I got it for winter. Might be best for fall. Smells slightly powdery to my nose, maybe that’s the lavender. the black pepper is def there, and it smells woody. Like picture the smell of wood at lowes woody, and I am getting something sweet very slightly, but not sure what that sweetness is. To me this smells cheap. The scent profile. It smells more mature like old man smell, like some cheap cologne I have smelled before in stores. I mean it’s an okay scent. People say it smells like gentleman's something, but I never smelled that, so I probably wouldn’t like. I can see it being in the same vein, very slightly, like 20% in the vein of cremo spice and black vanilla, which is suppose to smell like spicebomb, but just know that 80% makes it very different. Does project for an hour or so more than arms length, then goes down to about 12 inches of projection. Currently have had it on for 2 hours, so idk how long it will stay Using this as a throw away cologne I can put on when doing quick errands and when someone comes ovef
