Amerindian Gardens

This is the first scent I tested from this extraordinary line. Why extraordinary? Because all scents are really removed from everything I experienced in perfumery. Amerindian Gardens, like all the other scents from the line, is a scent of a place. For me, it does not smell of perfume as such, but of a location, of a concept. Smelling it from a bottle does not do this one justice, as (and for me this is the case with most citrus scents), it smells quite sharp. You need to experience it on your skin where it shows how beautiful it is. The citrus is a leading note here alongside flowery background and rhubarb. It's a bright, fresh scent, very cheerful and uplifting, a scent of happy memories. There is just a touch of sweetness here (jasmine?) preventing the sourness. It envelopes me with a beautiful mist, so comforting and soft. It keeps closer to the skin with three sprays on my neck and my wrist, but yesterday it survived a shower, and my wrist still smelled amazing when I was going to bed. Not that projection is bad, it's more than decent and is quite noticeable around. And the bottle is beautiful. I wish I could have all the scents on my shelf, they look absolutely stunning.
