Summer Leaves

Absolutely beautiful. Green stems, sap, vanillic figs. The tart neroli and vetiver give it a gauzy grapefruity air. I like that the vetiver doesn't make it soapy - it stays botanical and earthy. Perfectly unisex. Lasting power of the alcohol spray version is 5-6 hours on clothes. Moderate projection, becoming more intimate after about 2 hours.

Smelled this on my friend and absolutely loved it. Bought it for myself and something about it on my skin made me feel nauseous. Maybe I just applied to too close to my face or it was too hot out (Florida, late spring)? I ended up giving it to the friend I originally smelled it on (she had only had a sample). Def try a sample on your own skin before buying the full bottle.

I layer this with Paradisi to create the most lush, humid green effect. They compliment each other so well.

Summer Leaves is a perfume that conjures an image of staring up into the catalpa tree in my front yard growing up. Laying down a blanket during summertime and staring up into green leaves. The freshness of chlorophyll life in a green leaf wafting above you in a stemmy and just slightly sweet kind of way. I feel like if you enjoy scents similar to Philosykos where the fig is represented fresh and clean and green, this one feels very natural and takes you to a place you may have forgotten about. Innocence, taking a nap under a tree in the summertime and waking up to see the sunlight coming through the foliage and turning the leaves a brighter green behind it, cool shade blanketing you.

Really gorgeous fig leaf and vetiver. I always get compliments when I wear this. There's also something cooling, almost mentholated about it, and it really performs well in heat and humidity. Sexy and earthy but refreshing at the same time. This is a deep summer scent for me and feels like a bit much in milder seasons.
