Osmanthus & Tea

I have been looking for an affordable summer perfume that has both osmanthus and tea notes, and here it is! :D After the initial opening with indolic jasmine (which took some time for my nose to get used to) the fragrance then develops into a cleaner scent as the green tea grounds it and the osmanthus adds floral elegance. Although the scent is light and inoffensive, it lasted for good 6 hours on me. And hats off to the quality, this fragrance is so nicely blended, it is a real treat for the price!! As for me, it is more feminine leaning.

My 2 favorites from The Cologne House Discovery set is this one and Osmanthus in A Major (I also reviewed), they both share a beautiful Osmanthus prominent note. It opens with Egyptian Jasmine, slightly indolic for a short while, then the Osmanthus, Tea and Bergamot appear. In comparison to Osmanthus in A major, the Bergamot and Tea here add an extra boost of freshness and cut through the sweetness of the florals. Both are excellent with high quality ingredients but this one is fresher and more Unisex in my opinion. I was a bit worried about the Ambroxan, a note I truly dislike, but here it is added very tastefully, serving its purpose but without me being able to single it out.

Feminine Fragrance, not suitable for men, a strange, somewhat herbal, citrus fragrance, the only noticeable notes are osmanthus, jasmine and green grass, while the rest of the notes are hardly noticeable, light and not heavy, suitable for summer and spring. I personally prefer refreshing summer scents, but I did not like the fragrance (to be honest, it gave me a sense of Children's urine smell). But I invite you to try it by yourself and let your nose be your guide.
