I'm glad to see someone below me also picked up on the the coconut accord. I was worried I was having a stroke because that note was so prominent in the opening. It adds an unexpected and compelling softness to the juniper. Rather than leaning into the beachy, tropical coconut summer cliché, this accord feels toasted and dry, evoking singed coconut husk more than sunscreen or sweetened milk. Something akin to the big island in Hawaii with its juniper bushes and non-native pine trees at higher elevations. This is a very unique and unusually compelling fragrance. The lemon shortbread cookie comment below is fairly accurate. Right now I want more projection and sillage. This is th every definition of a unisex fragrance. I am craving a lemon shortbread cookie with a warm cup of Earl Grey. A striking aromatic juxtaposition that’s both refined and emotionally evocative. A secluded cabin, the morning after a storm. Smoky air lingers in the rafters. A cup of Earl Grey steams in your hand. Somewhere, a memory of sweetness remains in the air with the coconut, barely there, warmed by ash and time. How lovely.

This opens with a bright burst of lemony citrus and piney freshness, then settles into piney woods layered with a hint of sweetness and smokiness. The drydown becomes a soft, sweet smoky musk that lingers beautifully. It smells like eating a lemon shortbread cookie in the middle of a pine forest, just after the campfire has died down—only a faint whisper of smoke rising into the starry night sky. Projection and sillage are solid, and the longevity is great—it lingers in the most comforting way.

Surprisingly sweet. Honey. Decadent with a green tone. Sharp and heavier. Rich. I pick up pronounced notes of coconut and vanilla with a quiet freshness. As it dries, it's almost medicinal, like a balm or a salve. A smokiness comes out more as this dries, but really, it's brighter than you'd assume (given its name).
