Cuir Fetiche

You have just stumbled into the sexiest campfire site ever,all hot boys and girls enshrouded in thick smoke. I thought Perfume Mendo's Mendocino Midnight was the end all and be all of smoky incense goodness, but this is somehow richer with the addition of saffron and Amber, just enough to give that huge smoke wallop some nuance, and I'll be damned if the drydown doesn't morph into a rich leather at some point too. Magic stuff!! *Note: this is a roll-on botanic Perfume, so a little goes a looooong way.

This smells so exciting! I like to wear it going on adventures, or to the cinema when I know the films might get a little raunchy. I feel very in my body and attractive when I put it on, but it's for special occasions only (also because I only have the sample).

For when you want to smell like a motorcycle witch. My everyday, of course Not as strong as an EDP in my experience. This is one of my favs from LVNEA, IMO a very underrated house

Wooden leathery incense of the gods with a juicy backbone! Unspeakably beautiful, go ahead and sample it you won’t regret it.

There's definitely something of new leather about it, that's for sure: that of the brand new little leather bag, but also of the speak-easy, the big club chairs, with a stick of incense burning somewhere in the room. A light grey cloud, a tiny film of dust. There are also some nice strong woody notes, sooty, almost, that I personally tend to like. Where I get it particularly touching is on that vanilla micro-note (and I write that with huge quotation marks) that comes in at one point, all in discretion, and then develops into something a little bit plastic - and that must be the saffron. This aspect really adds a little contemporary/aerial twist to this very dark panorama, a little veil that we didn't expect at all, and I'm pleasantly surprised by this cuir fétiche - although it's not the type of creation for which I spontaneously fall for at all. Interesting, and as with the others tested by the house, the natural materials aspect is really good for the nose and the head (not insignificant: for me, it's a real added value).
